Being lovers of all nature. We decided to take a boat cruise on the Leven River in Ulverstone. What a gem they have. We boarded our open flat bottomed boat. Giving us extensive views of the River and it's surroundings. Our tour guide was owner operator Kim. Her love and knowledge of her surroundings was displayed during the entire trip. We left the boat at her pontoon and were guided into what I can only describe as a magical rainforest which Kim has leased for the purpose of her guests. We chose to have a catered lunch, prepared by Kim. Real value for money. A wonderful, enjoyable day. We were treated as individuals and friends. Thank you so much Kim. One of the highlights of our Tasmanian holiday.

Such a spectacular attraction in the little town of Ulverstone. I have been a couple of times and wouldn't hesitate to go many, many more times, I love it! Kim does a fantastic job of her cruise and is warm and welcoming. Her knowledge is extensive and entertaining. Beautiful views, walks and wildlife. A very special experience with friends and family!

Had a get family day out, learnt a lot of Ulverstone’s History and the History of its forest. Beautiful Food and great people, the host was amazing, knowledgeable and friendly! The wild life was spectacular! Would definitely do it again!

We were suprised at the quality of the cruise and the historical knowledge of the tourguide and owner. We experinaced the river at low tide, and then a completely different experience of the river and scenery at high tide.The history of the river and Ulverstone was interesting and detailed with old photos to complete th experience. The bush walk was equally as interesting with the bush area being kept in its natural state. The 3 course meal which was cooked in the bush area was excellent. The facilities were in excellent condition and favourabe to all kinds of weather.

Not only was the river boat trip great, the lunch delicious, the scenery beautiful, the bushwalk easy and educational and sooo uplifting...kim (owner, captain, cook, guide, educator and animal welfare carer) and her daughter felt like old dear friends! So very open and hospitable. Kims extensive local history, flora, river and fauna knowledge is impressive and combined with lots of local colorful tales as well. . The 5 hour lunch cruise is highly recommended and worth every cent then some!

This was a fantastic cruise! Kim organised this cruise for us at late notice and it is clear she is passionate and knowledgeable about the past and present of the Leven River. Highly recommended for a relaxing afternoon out on an extremely quiet and peaceful stretch of river.

Excellent we did the 5 hour cruise and the lunch was fantastic - Kim is an excellent skipper and host and she has so much knowledge of the local history.

Went on this cruise on our last visit to Tasmania in June. 2013 . My husband and I were the only passengers on this day. Kim was a wonderful hostess she is so knowledgeable about the area. The lunch she prepared for us was fantastic. If you are looking for a leisurely day away from the hustle and bustle I can definitely recommend this cruise. Well done Kim keep up the good work.

This is a great little cruise which travels up the Leven River departing from the town of Ulverstone. Kim, the owner and operator is a joy to travel with. She knew a lot about the area and kept us informed with interesting facts and history of spots along the way. We stopped in the upper reaches of the river for a short walk and lunch which was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this cruise.
