Brilliant - a most enjoyable day. Michael went to great lengths to ensure that we saw all the highlights with his masterly maneuvering of the boat.

From your phone call to book, check in at the harbour and on the boat - you are in hands of expert seamen who know the waters. We were a few minutes late departing fromTriabunna so our Captain extended our departure time from the island that day. Your safety is a serious business to them yet they provided a light hearted the historical talk provided en route which was a pleasant surprise.

Planned a trip to Tasmania from Sydney and to visit Maria island, but in my absentmindedness didn't book a trip to Maria Island until the day before.Speaking to Anne, the ferry organiser, she was extremely accomodating. In these circumstances, calling in last minute, she was free to say there was no space and that would be the end of it. However she worked on finding space for us and gave us updates on our chances of visiting the island. In the end, she did manage to book spots for us on the ferry and we had a wonderful day at Maria Island climbing Bishop and Clerk. Thanks to Anne for the amazing service!

Trip out was fine but the "captain" has no idea about customer service. We took a couple of suitcases in lieu of backpacks because that's what we are traveling with this being a driving holiday. Guy keeps banging on and making a big deal of it even though total volume of luggage was no more than anyone else had for family of four. He must think he is running Jetstar :-)

The captain John gave a fabulous service, ensuring that all passengers were settled and their gear safely stored. During the journey he delivered a very interesting overview of the history, attractions and best walks for varying levels of time and fitness. The island deserves two days for a casual tourist with lots of history and easy walks -we did it in 3 1/2 hours and missed a lot. The purchasing of tickets at the ferry was not well signposted - better to pre-book. Take protection from the sun, water and snacks as there are no cafes. Marie and Norm

We took our bikes and camping gear for a weekend stay on Maria island, saw dolphins on the way over from Triabunna, overall a comfortable journey. When we inadvertently left our helmets on board, John brought them back to Hobart for me to collect. Thanks for the friendly service!
