Great wine, hospitality and advice about the Tasmanian wine regions. Must Stop! Ask about the Melbourne Cup.

Having been exposed to Delamere wines at Festivale a few years ago & being very impressed, had the opportunity to visit the winery with family from the mainland. We spent over an hour with Shane. All the wines impressed & we had a wide ranging, humorous & lively conversation interspersed with the tasting. The four of us enjoyed all the wines, but the Pinot Noir & the Naissante Fume Blanc were standouts. If engaged in a winetasting expedition in the Tamar Valley region, would strongly recommend including this one on any proposed itinerary. Would be surprised if anyone would be disappointed.

Arrived as they were closing but Fran opened up for us without complaint. Extremely smart young lady and really friendly...unsurprising as we later found out she is one of Tassies most highly regarded young winemakers! Nice range of wines with exceptional bubbles. Fran also was happy to recommend other wineries to us. A really pleasant experience and well worth a visit.

This place is a must drop in! We spent several hours talking to the owners about their beautiful wines. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the area (and of course their own wines) and very talented. We enjoyed them all and especially the quirky stories that came along with the tastings. There is a $5 fee for tasting, but this is given back when you buy a bottle at the end (which you probably will!). They produce quite a large variety of wines for a relatively small vineyard. The gardens are charming and you can see chickens darting about in the bushes. We would love to go back.

If your thinking of calling at this cellar door to try the wines, make sure you have a lazy hour up your sleeve! With an amazing array of wines and tasting you won't be able to stop yourself once you start. The best part is meeting the cellar door guru of wine Curly. Full of bubbles of energy ( or maybe she was full of bubbles of wine ). Very knowledgeable and happy to talk all things wine - would make a great wine dinner guest this lady! Great wines couldn't decide what we liked best so found it easiest to join their wine club and see what they choose to send us twice a year, a very exciting & novel approach we felt!

The young woman who facilitated our tasting was attentive and informative. We arrived at a peak time, with several others in the tasting room, but she managed to serve us all, and kept note of who-was-where with the line of wines. We lashed out to buy a sparkling wine that was more expensive than our normal purchases because we were impressed by its mousse and flavours. We'll probably save it for our wedding anniversary!

Stopped here for what supposed to be a quick stop but stayed an hour. The English lass serving us was very friendly and a great host. Ensured that all the wines got a good explanation. Gardens were beautiful and scenic as well. Worth a stop on your wine tasting tour.

Our host was a hoot! She was passionate about the wines, really knew the product, and even convinced us to try a few things we normally wouldn't and enjoyed them! The wines are reasonably priced, the atmosphere is simple and welcoming - nothing pretentious here! Enjoy the sparkling wines they have, it's an indulgence and one not soon forgotten. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and one of the outstanding visits we made in the Tamar Valley. Do it!

Having visited delamere a number of times over the years and always enjoyed their wines and no different on this trip. The lady educating and tasting the wines for us was very friendly and informative and made the experience. The dogs were also friendly and persistent in having sticks thrown. Lovely little outlook with guinea fowl and chickens wandering around the yard.Bought a case of wines, because I liked it and goods service.
