With a group of 6, all purchased food from the Heritage Centre cafe (Oasis cafe), and after 12 hours the entire group was sick. Turned out to be 'off' food, which after reported by the group was apparently identified and removed.Still not good enough unfortunately. The bowling alley also needs an upgrade and maintenance on several lanes. The souvenir shop could also use a spruce up. Unfortunately it just appears as the whole centre is being run as cheaply as possible?

We had planned to stop here on our way back for The Outback and were glad we did. The Information Centre has a nice cafe and the staff are helpful. There is a small gift shop and a. Wry interesting museum display about the military base and what has happened here historically. There is a small entrance fee for the museum. Easy parking and easy to find.

Don't pass this place by. It's just 6km off the main road and well worth the look. Lots of history and driving around this town is VERY eerie. Really enjoyed this.

Its easy to spend an hour or two looking over the exhibits and history on display. Although it might be an idea to read a little of Australias atomic history before you arrived, to put things into perspective.

The cafe was really good... Quite a good range on the menu. Very reasonably priced too. The heritage museum was a fantastic trip through recent history.Woomera must have been buzzing back on the 60s-80s

As well as the outdoor display in Woomera this visitor centre is worth a visit. Included in this centre is a bowling alley, nice cafe, clean toilets, a souvenir shop as well as small informative and historic displays. There is a museum which you can pay to enter but I cannot comment on that. If you are driving through this area you will get a much better meal and coffee by waiting until you reach Woomera.

A great little visitor information centre located within a little arcade which includes a great café/restaurant with a good range of big meals. The full breakfast's are huge and will cater for any appetite. That is why we saw all the contractors eating there. The museum entrance is also located within this arcade.

Great spot for a quick meal and a coffee. A very basic museum but interesting nonetheless.Make sure you have the Kangaroo burger when you visit. Great value and delicious!
