Elegant wines. The Wiggy sparkling wine was a standout for us. Ordered a pizza for lunch, a bit small for 2 to share, but delicious anyway.

Bremerton Wines cellar door offers the lay person a very informative introduction to the viticulture industry. Here you will discover a number of varietals not encountered at most mainstream vineyards.Learn about varieties such as Vermentino and Tamblyn (a red wine blend), fortified Chardonnay, learn about the Bâtonnage process. There is so much more to learn about wines and their origins when you visit this vineyard.Sisters Rebecca and Lucy Willson know their wines and can answer any question you can throw at them.Lucy held us captivated with her knowledge and the freeness with which she engaged with us in discussion on all things to do with the viticulture industry.Did you know that the tannins in wines vary from one area to another within the same variety? This and much more were learnt on our visit to Bremerton Wines.Without a doubt, if you only have time to visit one vineyard (which would be a pity) in this area, put Bremerton Wines at the top of your list.We enjoyed the experience and came away with quite a bit more knowledge of the wine industry.Just to top off our experience we enjoyed one of their freshly cooked pizzas, bellissimo!

We drove out to Langhorne Creek to taste the wines and had a wonderful time at Bremerton winery. The wine is very good both lighter reds and big reds. Also had a sparkling white. Had a lovely lunch outside with the sun shining. Bought some mixed reds and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Highly recommend.

Didn't know much about Bremerton when we stopped for a tasting, though the place had been highly recommended. Now we are devotees of their and Langhorne creek wines more generally. The tasting experience was great fun: superb wines, knowledgeable and gracious hosts and a delightful ambience fostered by the beautifully renovated 150-year-old stone building that serves as tasting room, shop and restaurant. They also sell an array of high-quality local produce and gift items. Didn't eat in the cafe but it did look enticing. Next time.

We had NZ visitor with us, and had been to visit family in the area, who suggested we check out the menu at Bremerton Wines. Was fantastic!! Platters with delicious fresh bread and pate and much more, lovely fresh homemade soup, and so much more. Wines were great to taste and buy - atmosphere is very special. the building - a stone barn cellar 1866 built, more recently renovated....we will return. Thank you ladies - Lucy and Rebecca Willson.

Langhorne Creek is an area that I am not that familiar with. I knew that they make great reds and fortifieds but the area is off the beaten track. Aftre my first visit to Bremerton, I know that this is a region I will visit more often. Fantastic venue, beautiful wines (including a few special newer varietals), delicious platter and great staff (we were also priveledged to have Rebecca the winemaker conduct part of the tasting). Make an effort to visit Bremerton, you wont be disappointed.

Perfect timing for our arrival as we had the wine maker (Rebecca) assist us with our tasting. Wines were good, tried some varieties I had never tried before and would definitely have again. Nice setting. Great people. Great wines. Very informative. Really worth stopping here if planning on visiting langhorne creek wineries or even if just passing though on your way south to lake Alexandrina.

As usual the pizza's were fantastic. The winery was busy so we had to wait for the food but sitting there having a nice cab sav wasn't a chore!

My wife and I discovered this winery by accident some months ago, and recently returned with a group of family to celebrate our wedding. Both visits have been wonderful experiences in their 1866 restored barn. The platters and pizzas are all overly and the best thing of all is that the wine is to die for! Will be back again and again!
