I love cider. So on a visit to Burra today I saw the signs for Apple Wines. Lovely wines. Will have to go back once I've finished the dozen I bought. Defintely worth the detour!!

Love cider so just had to visit, was not disappointed many different varieties to try, including liquors. Owner very informative and willing to spend time talking about his products and the area.

I am not an apple cider drinker, but my husband enjoyed it. staff was friendly and eager for us to try different sorts. included was apple ciders, beer, chocolate apple liqueur and apple stout. open 1pm - 4pm

Not the easiest place to find but worth the effort. Lots of tastings, lots of friendly information on the area. Love the dark apple beer in particular.

Fantastic! Apple wine high alcohol and perfect delicious taste, apple beer and apple stout who would have thought. Wow!!! Lots of tastings ,lots of very friendly information on his products and also the area. We bought lots of bottles to enjoy. This is a MUST to visit

It was cold and wet in Burra as we left the town and we were looking for an attraction indoors.Heading out of Burra we spied the sign to Thorogoods Apple wine, quick u turn and we were in the street.A very helpful mistress of the wines helped us to work our way through the wines and ciders, try the limited edition apple and pear wine combined...yum.We came away with an armful of assorted goodies to drink around the fire at the Clare Caravan Park!
