When in Rome..... Gorgeous little cellar door, with some wonderful products. Walked away with The Laird, plus some others. Fabulous. We're on the mailing list !

Thanks to Max and Michael for a wonderful start to our day, don't worry we will give The Factor and The Laird good homes.

My Favourite vineyard on my trip, very friendly staff who were down to earth and lovely. Add to that come great wine and I look forward to drinking my bottles over the next few years!

The name Torbeck popped up several times over the weekend (including recommendations from other wineries) so we made a detour at the end of the day to see it, so glad we did! Beautiful views both from outside and inside the cellar door itself, can imagine that it would get a little cramped on busy weekends but we were fortunate enough to have the place to ourselves. If you're a Shiraz lover like myself, you're in heaven! Definitely recommend trying the Fish's Shiraz. Thank you to James for a wonderful tasting experience.

The tasting is very generous, with many fine (i.e. expensive) bottles being opened. Exceptional wine and very knowledgeable staff.

Torbreck is now a commercial operation and while it is privately owned, the original owner was clearly shafted in the sell out. It is sad to see that the original owner no longer is involved with Torbreck and they provide the history, story and vision for the vineyard and its wines. Torbreck mainly buy their wines from local growers and produce some good wines and then 1 gem, which sadly is over hyped and now over priced at $900 AUD a bottle! With no resident proprietor (character) the place feels devoid spirit.

The tasting room is in a delightful heritage cottage, which could get a bit crowded at the weekend, but we were there midweek so it was fine. They have an exciting range of wines available for tasting - about 20 in total - with quite a selection of shiraz up to their top flight. Worth a visit for experiencing the the breadth of styles from Barossa shiraz.

Visited here after enjoying their wines in NSW. A lovely vineyard with very friendly staff who had an excellent knowledge of wines. It was great to see where the wines come from that we enjoy so much.

Went with a group of 9 girls. We were able to have our wine tasting out on the lawns to enjoy the perfect spring weather. Friendly staff with a wealth of knowledge. A fantastic morning of tasting with purchases by all. Will be back.

After two days of tasting wines in more than 16 wineries in the Barossa , we finally found what we were looking for , unique character , bold , great nose , compex shiraz we found in the Factor and the RunRigThe staff at the cellar door are very welcoming and very knowledgeable. The packaging is also very impressive and top class. Must visit if you are in the Barossa

Compact but with great tastings and atmosphere. Wines are of very good quality though we found it hard to not like any of them. All in all a great visit with out the trappings of a BIG establishment.

It doesn't have the grandeur and history of many of the nearby wineries and chateaus but although small by comparison, it is more than offset by the quality of the wines. For a small ($5) tasting charge, you actually get to try an amazing range of quality (and expensive) wines. Wonderful wines and top service.

If you're looking for quality wine at a reasonable price. If you want to talk to friendly and knowledgeable staff who love wine and the Barossa. If you want the chance to even possibly taste a 100 point wine ("Run Rig") or perhaps even (if you are really really lucky) the brilliant "Lard" then the Torbreck Cellardoor is a must when you visit Tanunda in the Barossa Valley.

Brilliant experience - lovely staff and fantastic wine. Not to be missed in your winery visits for the Barossa.

This is the Barossa we wanted to see, a relatively small winery with such friendly cellar door staff keen to assist and provide us with as much information as we required. We rang the day before to ensure 11 of us could visit at the one time and booked a time. The staff welcomed us and took us through the fabulous Torbrek wines. We enjoyed wine tasting on the front lawn as it was a beautiful day. Well done and thanks to Torbrek Wines.
