A great range of food and beverage outlets, a good representation of trendy Auckland plus some history of the Americas Cup

If you're visiting Auckland and have extra time, this is a great place to stroll around on a sunny day. There are lots of restaurants along the water tempting you in for gelato or coffee, and excellent photo ops to be found. Be aware that only street parking seems to be available, with meters requiring coins.

loved the atomosphere with all the people from all over the world. the restaurants created a buzz, really nice place to walk around.

Like a Sirens voice yearning for you to join her at sea (opposite in Greek Mythology ), you find yourself grinding sail in a head to head match against another 25 meter racing ship. 2 1/2 hours flies by and quite lucky to have the support of 15 knot breezes to glide us on edge above the sea waters ! Our skipper last time was an Olympic skuller, and this time we forgot to ask ? Follow this experience up with a trip to the Maritime museum nearby and you have met your daily recommended dose of oceana !

Auckland Viaduct Harbour is a must place to visit if you are feeling like a little relaxation, taking in the sights and enjoying the hospitality that the area offers. Great collection of bars and restaurants to choose from or just stroll along viewing the super yachts and people relaxing.Auckland must be one of the best harbours in the world and the cruise ships fit into the scene very well. Overall a very pleasing experience for families couples or singles.

This is a definite place to visit in Auckland, the boats are stunning, there are masses of bars and restaurants to choose from at all price points. It´s very clean and a great place to spend an afternoon or an evening either just for a stroll or for food and drinks.

This is a great part of Aukland with masses to do and see. The harbour is lovely and the pace is relaxing and warm. Just potter about and enjoy the place.

Great to wander around and look at all the boats. Perfect to find your dream boat as there are a lot of expensive looking vessels there. Lots of places to have a drink or meal.

We visited at a time when there was a lot go down. A mixture of events in Auckland meant lots of tourists, ourselves included. The harbour had lots of varied boats of all descriptions to look over. The views back to the city are excellent especially at night. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from, many with great views.
