所说是全新西兰的中心点。 顶峰的风光真的很美。就是山路很陡,但是绝对值得。而且也就是20分钟一直上坡而已。。。一下就到了。 中途也可以停下来看看。

This is a great place yo takeadulta and children alike. It is a pretty easy walk if you take your time with spectacular views at the top.

A short walk, and a great view. Who cares if it really is the middle of NZ - every visitor to Nelson should make the short trek up the hill.

This 'attraction' is not clearly signposted. It has a quite steep climb to the top of the hill (my Fitbit said I'd climbed 75 flights of stairs) but on a clear day the views are pretty good of Nelson and it's surrounds.

This is a great quick walk that is well maintained and has excellent views at the top. Gives a excellent view of the Nelson town, harbour and beyond.

You walk uphill from a park on the edge of the centre of the city. A longish but not challenging climb rewarded by good views over central Nelson on the way up and a panorama of city and bay when you get there. Descending you have an option to walk North along the hillside to descend at the Founders Park historical village. On a fine day it's well worth taking. The panorama spot is not quite the geographical centre of NZ but years ago they thought it was and its near enough!

I live near the Centre of NZ and take all my visitors up for the exercise, birdlife and the views. You end up at the top talking to people from all around the world

The breathtaking is both from the view and the climb ~ haha ~ but do it anyway!! If you're in any sort of reasonable shape you'll be happy you made the effort. The views are spectacular and there are benches at the top as well as grassy areas to sit & catch your breath surrounded by incredible views! A twenty minute walk from town will bring you to the beginning of the path and another 20 minutes will get you to the top! There are also other little paths you can choose on the way down. . . there's a Valley trail that will bring you in a round about way down to the entrance of the trail. You can make a short trip of it or pack a lunch and make an afternoon of it! Whatever you decide, you're sure to enjoy it!

It is quite a hike to get to the top of this but definitely worth it once you get to the top. Amazing view on a nice day. I would recommend good shoes

We visited but only found out when we got there that it is a very steep climb up. I couldn't manage it so my husband went alone while I sat in the park at the bottom.

Steep ascent but worth it for the views. Initially a little difficult to find the park but got there. Stunning views over Nelson and its environs and an interesting story behind the trig point and the title of the attraction

A nice walk in the city center. This is the type of attraction that is better in theory than in actuality. It's a cool landmark to visit but don't expect it to be jaw dropping. Follow it up with a picnic and you have yourself a great lunch trip in Nelson.

I have walked this track many a time and never get tired of the view from the top. The track is well maintained and a good healthy activity for all of the family. If you don't decided to walk to the top there is a small playground, toilets and a field to run around on at the bottom.

It's a nice spot to have a picnic on a sunny day. The Centre of New Zealand is not as spectacular as it souns but at least you can say you've been there and the picture.
