the whisky bar

We stayed at Le Grande Lodge and had a night cap at the Whisky Bar every night. The bartenders were great, the furniture cozy and the selection fantastic. Highly recommend stopping in while in Tremblant.

We stayed the Grand Lodge, so naturally, we popped into the Whisky Bar for lunch on the Saturday.The view was amazing. It showcased the beautiful Lac Ouimet, and it was the perfect day, weather wise. We sat on the comfortable couch by the fire place and read until we were ready to sit at a table. We shared the club sandwich, which was pretty decent as far as club sandwiches go. I find I'm often disappointed, but this one was pretty good. We also shared the French onion soup. Man, it was delicious. I definitely recommend it. To finish off the meal, I ordered an Irish coffee, while my girlfriend ordered the Grand Lodge coffee, which I believe had Baileys, Frangelico and something else I can't remember. Either way, they were lovely.The waitress was great and very attentive. I mean, yes, we were one of two tables there at the time, but still. That hardly ever matters.

We were looking for a change in the area and found it here.We went Friday and Saturday.Friday was such a nice day they were not serving lunch at the bar but down at the beach....really nice.They were serving free corn on the cob which became our desert.Saturday evening was very good inside,great service,choice of eating in the bar or the fancier restaurant.Probably a very good place to stay also,about 10 minuites from the ped. village.

Went to The Whisky Bar at Le Grand Lodge with 3 friends on our ski trip last March. We enjoyed the cosy atmosphere, the vast selection of single malts and the free James Bond movie on the wide screen. A great place to relax after a great day on the slopes.
