The wonderful woman behind the desk at the visitor center was fantastic. She led us to great hikes and dinners. We are sooo glad we stopped here on our way into town!

Aboriginal Tourism brings a whole new level to the offerings of tourist activities on the Coast. Super friendly and helpful!

The travel representative on duty was very helpful, spend as much time with us as we needed, and giving much advice on places to visit (in the rain) and recommending restaurants to eat at.The Centre also had all the necessary local maps and guides for our needs.

These people were amazing. I showed up after closing, lost. My GPS couldn't find the B&B where we were supposed to be staying. I stood at the door thinking we'd missed our chance, and trying to think of where to go next. Pretty quickly, the closed door opened up and a nice man welcomed us inside. We were so grateful! He talked and talked, so genuine and honest about the area, helping us learn what we wanted to know since we're thinking about moving here. He gave us a map and drew a route for us that would get us to the B&B. Probably half an hour later, we decided to be on our way so he could close up shop. But he was more than happy to help us with anything we asked. There was a nice lady in there chatting with us too, as she finished up her work on the computer. Overall, a very pleasant experience for us, and easily the most helpful visitor's center staff we've met.

Besides excellent washrooms available close to beach the staff is very helpful whether you need to know where to stay, eat shop or hike. With the opening of the Gravity Park and other extensive trail systems bikers will want to check it out. They have souvenirs, cards, maps and info on what to see on the Coast.

The lady at the visitors centre was so helpful! We originally booked a campsite almost in town and when we go there we realized it was right on the hwy and that is NOT camping so we went to the visitors centre and the lady there directed me to the Provincial Park and we had a great time. Thank you for the great advice.

As with most Sechelt locals they were very friendly and eager to help us chose neat stuff to do. We took a small booklet of all the local hikes. You will need this as nothing is well marked.

staff were extremely helpful not only with things to do and see in Sechelt but also other communities on the Sunshine Coast.

helpful staff, lots of information, but unfortunately, lots of driving to other point of interests. Gibson is still a bigger town and has more to do I guess (more noise)

Staff was very friendly and helpful! They answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations what to do and see at the coast. If you go to the Sunshine Coast the Sechelt Visitor Centre should be your first stop to get information, brochures etc!

Em Sechelt não deixe de aprender um pouco mais sobre a cultura dos povos nativos da costa Oeste. Observe os vários totens que a vila possui. Também visite o museu dos povos nativos.
