这个地方很适合沿着沙滩安安静静的散步。在这里点燃篝火,看日落而且可以看到比我们在城市里能看到的多得多的星星!

这里的海滩,漂亮、干净、整洁,整个海滩一直延伸到遥远的地平线。天气十分的阴沉,可是海上刮来的一股强风吹散了乌云,太阳出现了,展现在你眼前的是一片壮观绝美的景色。

我们是从附近的度假村走过来的,海滩很有趣,被冲刷成2道半月型,这样形成的潮汐也有趣,有个评论说这里停车收费,所以我们决定走过来,而且我们离的也不远。我们穿过北面的停车场过来的,但是没看见哪里写着要收钱,也没有卡机,只说了有4小时的时限。停车场的小建筑里还有卫生间,估计其他评论说的停车场是另外的吧。

托菲诺是我家人最喜欢去的地方之一。我们所有人都认为可能每年需要固定有一次“托菲诺之旅”。切士特曼海滩在很多方面都非常棒…它非常干净,海滩很长,所以你可以在上面悠闲地漫步,或者可以慢跑,或者可以拥抱清凉的海浪,最后你会感到非常兴奋!这里是孩子们玩耍、狗狗奔跑、晚上举行篝火的完美天堂…而且海水清澈见底,非常漂亮。住宿租金可能会很贵,但是…如果你和家人或者一群朋友一块去,在切士特曼海滩上租一间可爱房子,然后一起分担费用…那么它会成为一次非常精彩的假期。对我的家人来说,没有比这更棒的了…!我们会在这美丽的沙滩上来一次晨跑,然后跳入海水中…是的,海水很冰凉——然后比赛看谁会第一个洗热水淋浴…然后,在甲板上喝被杯咖啡,美味的早餐就要端上来了!是的,托菲诺以及这里可爱的海滩,尤其是切士特曼海滩是我们的最爱,我们以后每天都会来!喜欢它!这是一个适合所有人的地方…情侣、带着小孩的家庭、有着青少年的家庭…还有和朋友们一起…它真的适合所有类型的人!切士特曼海滩主要面向那些在海滩上租了可爱房子的人。然而,它是对公众开放的。公路旁有停车位。很多年轻人过来这里冲浪…

It's Nature in the Divine. There is lots of open spaces, tidal pools, rock mounds to climb...The kids loved hanging out at the beach, climbing, seeking tidal pools..

Splendid never-ending beach where you can walk forever between the surf and the trees on the compact wet sand that reflects the sky.

Just steps away from the Wick. We used what looked like a brand new ramp to the beach from the driveway. After a hard 3 hr drive in from Nanaimo we had a totally relaxing time unwinding by walking on the beach. Looking forward to coming back one day.

Chesterman beach is a wonderful place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. You can be as alone as you want or as engaged as you want. What I love most is the dogs of Chesterman beach. They are all so happy to be there and just be dogs! I never saw any altercations or behaviours that were of concern. This is my new happy place I think. Now to get me a dog ...

Wide open space. Crashing waves. Dog friendly. Great for early morning and late afternoon walks. Sunrise and sunset are terrific. The Wik Inn had a dog paw wash station which was helpful.

On trips to Tofino, the dogs always come with us. Chesterman is one of our favourite walks, especially 1st thing in the AM or at teh end of the day. At that hour, 80+% of the walkers/joggers, seem to have dogs, almost all of which are off leash & having a great time. The beach is firm sand, which helps with traction & keeping down the total sand load brought back to the vehicle / room at the end of the walk. As is the west coast way, everyone is in a friendly & mellow mood & there is always something new or different to see - whether it be watching (& talking) with fellow walkers, families enjoying a day on the beach, birds, whales, the surfers, sunrise or, especially, a spectacular sunset.Not sure why, but all dogs seems to be friendly & even our normally timid labs have no issue with running up to meet other dogs they meet - perhaps the open space leads to less concern than when on a trail. There has never been any negative reaction from non-dog people, unlike most places where there is often a negative reaction from those who aren't yet converts to the benefits of dogs & it is rare to see dogs try to approach non-dog people - there is just too much much other activity going on I guess.This, like all beaches in the area, is a very clean beach where dog owners do their part in cleaning up any messes, perhaps a reason dog owners get on so well with the rest of the beach user community.

Loved the mist, the view of the lighthouse & Frank's Island! Surprised there are some roped off private areas but lucky them!

Chesterman Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I've been on. It has two parts to it and when the tide is out your able to walk out to Franks Island. The two sections are so large it feels like your on the beach alone. There are multi access trails from Chesterman's Rd. The best time to be on the beach is to view the sunsets.

I loved coming here. This beach is close to town and my hotel. Lot's of surfers on teh Sunday. The end of February and the temp was approaching 15 cel. Sun and sand, beautiful scenery and lovely sunsets.

Chesterman Beach is easily accessed with free parking. The beach is used by locals, tourists and surfers all taking in the sure nature and beauty of the beach and ocean.
