Aquabus has a fleet of little boats plying Vancouver's False Creek. It stops at a number of places along False Creek, and is used by commuters and tourists alike. For tourists it is a very cheap harbour tour.At the north end of Burrard Street there is a seabus, that takes you to North Van. Another great little boat tour. Do these on a sunny day!

Taking an Aquabus taxi gets you from one place to another like any other taxi. But it's so much more fun than a regular taxi! It wobbles as you get on and off, and you get water and city views that are unbeatable. Try it at night after the city lights up; the lights reflect onto the water, the Science World dome changes color, and the stadium looms neon pink in the distance. You get all, and you get where you need to go. It's a fun thing to do just for itself.

this was a great choice traveling along False Creek from the Olympic village to Granville island for just a view dollars. The Aquabus holds only a few people, a bit like a water taxi, stopping at various places. We enjoyed the ride.

fun for young kids and gives a different perspective of the city. can be busy in the summer, but we lucked out. Great travel alternative to get from Granville Island market to the Planetarium rather than trying to find (and pay for) parking in both locations.

Very convenient, however I thought the rates were a bit high. That being said it is a good tourist service.

The Aquabuses arrived promptly and the operators were very pleasant and efficient. I used the Aquabus system several times during my trip and enjoyed the ride each time.

We took the Aquabus from Granville Island over to the Bard on the Beach on a lovely summer day. The Aquabus is a lot of fun, especially if you have a kid or two along. Sure to make a memory, and the rainbow vessels are very photogenic.Recommended.

I have taken it from Granville island across the water to a friends restaurant on the other side.. and it`s just so convenient, fun, makes you smile everytime.. just because its so little and unique.`Try it just for fun.... TOURISTS please give it a try... excellent way to get to the downtown sector quick and cheaply.

A great way to get to certain parts of the city. We like to go downtown then take the Aquabus to go to Granville Island, way easier that trying to find a parking spot there.

Differnt then bus fair have to pay twice for this and local transit don't know why they don't make it all the same fun easy way to cross small harbour areas can walk around also other ways of getting there but convient depending on what and where your going

When you go to Granville island, take the Aqua bus across to English Bay or the Science world, walk the beautiful seawall, see Vancouver from a different angle.

Sure, it is worth doing...particularly if you want to get across False Creek efficiently, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do it. It's a water taxi...that's it. I guess if you aren't used to such things it feels fun. It's inexpensive. I just think of it as transportation though. You can buy tickets onboard. your round trip ticket is a better deal. If you are travelling with a few people you might want to get a string of 10 or 20 tickets cheaper.

We caught a Aquabus from Granville Island and was very fortunate to have the most sweetest, kindest captain! He showed us lots of what Vancouver had to offer as well as some great history about the city. He pointed out the most expensive condo's to live in and even pulled up next to an adorable little seal that was in the water. He shared some very interesting facts about the wildlife that swam in the waters and the newly built walking track. It was such a pleasant experience, the weather was gorgeous and I would definitely recommend taking a quick tour on an Aquabus while in Vancouver! I wish I could remember the guys name so I could give him the credit but I can't remember!

Loved the Aquabus! Easy to find, super quick, decent rate, friendly drivers. We used the Hornby to Granville Island route and it couldn't have been easier. Purchasing a return ticket saves you a little money too.
