It is centrally located and very large. There are trails and streams, dog areas, disc golf and grassy open areas. Great for nature hiking!!

What a great park. It's much larger than it looks and it's full of wide, well maintained walking trails. There is a quiet and serene feeling to the park as you walk among the tall, cool, shady trees and along the creeks, even though the park is located adjacent to Hwy 1 in Burnaby. The only downside are the irresponsible dog owners who let their dogs run free as they go to the off-leash area. Even though I'm a dog owner, I don't appreciate someone elses dog jumping on me as I walk. Others let their dogs rip up the stream in spite of the signs advising them of the work done to enhance fish habitat, clear fences and signs asking them not to let their dogs run in the streams. Still others pick up their dog's poop, put it in a bag and throw the bag o' poop into the stream or the forest. Fortunately, there are very few of these sorts of people so overall it's a joy to be able to share the park with everyone.

A hidden gem...When I tell my Asian visitors that the tennis courts are free-they drool....nature at its best and in summer a great supervised outside swimming pool......have a walk along the trails and sweep away the cobwebs of your mind ...you'll feel so refreshed...doggie areas too..
