You can find good information about surrounding area, timetables of buses and lots of free magazines of interest. A small tourist shop very good. Also a small cinema showing films of local interest, but during the school holidays they were showing children's films. A good place to meet for coffee and snacks and there were bikes to hire as well.

Located just off the highway and right in front of one of the most popular climbing spots in Squamish (The Smoke Bluffs), this is the place to go if you need some advice for where to buy something or where to rent something or where you should go next. The staff are helpful and there is a decent coffee shop inside.

Not too far from Vancouver but a great way to spend an afternoon! Gondola to the top and there's hiking trails, suspension bridge and a café, bar, and gift shop. Or for the super adventurous, you could hike all the way up, Worth the amazing trip up!

Squamish, B.C. is exactly half way between Vancouver and Whistler. The sea to sky highway is one of the most visually beautiful drives I have ever seen! Surrounded by mountains and glacier fed waterways, who could ask for more? The Squamish Adventure Centre offers a variety of tours and places of interest for all tastes. The souvenir area is second to none when it comes to native and local keepsakes. The little cafe offers up a great cuppa tea as well. If you like to backpack, hike, bike or sea kayak, I highly recommend Squamish. A few months ago their gondola up the Mountian was finished. What a great view from the top!

Liked the range of food including gluten free and we had our best coffee in Canada at this cafe. The info centre people were also very helpful.

Great, knowledgable staff, a movie room, cafe, gifts shop and large clean washrooms. All you could possibly ask for!

It's really cool that this adventure center combines tourist information with a cute cafe. We talked to Paul about hikes and he gave us some very helpful info. We'll definitely be back!

stopped here on the way to Whistler, had a good coffee and great scone in the cafe, there is a wee souvenir store there also. They have heaps of tourist information for the area around, plus clean bathrooms. Outside is a Inukshuk (big stone cairn thing) which is a photo op

I visited the Squamish Adventure Centre to get some information while my children ran off some energy! The Visitor Centre staff noticed my children needed a little distraction, so put a movie on in the incredible theater, while I went about my business with no distraction from the kids. The kids were perfectly content for quite some time so I was able to get a coffee and have a little mom time before we began on our journey! I noticed the store had some beautiful items made in BC! I will be sure to stop in again when I need information about Squamish.

After a long drive our kids needed some break. Their play area is good and coffee shop is also good. Make a quick stop on your way to whistler

This is a travel center, not a place to have an adventure. The agent that helped us was very knowledgeable about the area we were traveling to. He provided us with maps, guides, etc. and even recommended several restaurants based on our location in the Whistler area. There was a cafe/coffee shop inside. Anyone heading to the Whistler area should make this a stop along the way.

This award winning Iredale designed building right beside the main road in Squamish, with easy access and egress, acts as a true community hub. Not only a gorgeous spot for the Tourism Information Bureau, but a good little coffee shop, some meeting room space and cute little theatre and gift shop. The layout is a bit wasteful of space, and the cost was way to high, but this is now a Squamish landmark and icon.

I don't know that I would ever have stopped here in search for tourism information, going just by the name. I'm not sure what prompted this misleading name. Going to Squamish on a whim, we needed some information that wasn't in any of the brochures stacked in our hotel's racks -- don't need any outfitters to take a walk, but wanted to stay away from the 'holiday herds.' Thankfully we got friendly and helpful advise, with maps and printouts. As a nice surprise, the gift shop had quite a few items made in Squamish/BC/Canada that seemed not overpriced. There was a "Sing the Canadian Anthem for a free coffee"-promotion in the café, and judging by the mood of the girl behind the counter, too many people had taken advantage of that. Didn't try the coffee, but the place looked nice and inviting, as did all of the tourism info.
