With two tbars and one chair the people do spread out even if there is a crowd. We were there when about 60cm of snow had fallen, almost too much snow for the terrain. Lots of good slackcountry, nice lodge and bar. Very friendly staff.

We love it here. It's worth the drive. Lots of green runs if you are a beginner, the views are spectacular, staff is friendly. If only it was easy to find on hill accommodation, it would be perfect.

The slopes aren't crowded, so enjoy the great powder Smithers gets every year. All the staff are great, especially the ski instructors! After a fun day on the slopes kick back at the lodge for some good food and drinks. If you want a great alternative to skiing the busy slopes of Whistler then try Ski Smithers.
