I've never played before I went to the Delta paintball, so I have nothing to compare it to. I was not impressed. The explanations of how the game works were done by an Australian with a thick accent and I didn't understand half of what he said. They greet you at the entrance telling you the gun they supply with admission is reality inadequate and you should upgrade for $20. They are trying to get you to buy gloves, too. Before you know it, you can drop $60. Extra balls, pizza. It's easy to spend money there. Most of our team were novices and they put us up against a team of seasoned players who owned their own guns and knew how to play. Not surprisingly, we got creamed. It felt like I was target practice for somebody to shoot at. After I got one hit in the chin and scraped myself, I decided to call an end to it. More than half the participants left by lunch. The helmets are not vented enough so they fog up and I couldn't see a thing. A waste of time and money.

I never was one for paintball but for my son's birthday we enjoyed it. It's a unique experience for everyone
