skipping stone cafe & store

Stopped here on our travels of beautiful Nova Scotia . Immaculate building with an amazing interior ... A large glass table encases a hand built canoe. Wow! The skipping stone even has its own roastery next door. We were very excited to come across this location , I am a coffee shop owner from Montreal and this was one of the WORST lattes I have ever had. Too hot ,over extracted and very bitter ! The three of us literally spit the coffee out and then opted for a percolated version at a craft store/bakery down the road . Also the ice cream was very off putting. It was semi-melted and soup-ish along the edges and the flavours were quite strange. Our wraps were not fresh .. The barista even told us so! The eastern shore is a beautiful drive but make sure you stop else where .

This is the sort of cafe you could linger in for a whole afternoon - a great chill-out place. Good selection of cakes as well
