Beautiful views of the lake and Niagara River with many walking and biking riding trails. A great place to have a picnic. We were here in the fall and the views were just stunning. Great place for a picnic as well. Would go back here again and again!

The parks are fabulous but the bit I like the most is The Niagara Glen...its is down river from the Falls and along the rapids...hiking trails and nature at its best...bring a picnic and stay the day...kids will love it but keep them away from the river. Drive down river and its near the Ariel Basket.

Loved the variety and amount of open space allowing us to enjoy walking with our dog. The trails and adjacent woodlands are very well maintained and offer an excellent vantage point to view the Niagara River.

This is a side trail off the main Niagara River Trail at Beowns Point. It heads down a tree lines route along the river before returning back the main tail via the pipeline service road. This trail is in the "woods" and just beautiful.

We were here in early November and the temperatures were mild and the fall colors were beautiful. It was a great stop between Toronto and Niagra Falls. Such a cute, quaint little town main street nearby as well.

Whether you choose to walk, jog, bike, etc this is a wonderful miles long pathway with many breathtaking and unique views. We try to do a different section each year and always enjoy our walks. Easy to medium walking difficulty. You cannot go wrong and the price is SO right......FREE

Not the traditional time to visit gardens but the colour of the trees was fantastic and even though a little cold it was worth the walk and would recommend it

Easy bike ride, flat for the most part. Traffic is light and you can stop at wineries, fruit stands, etc.! A must do!

It's doable: stay in quaint NOTL and ride your bike to the Falls. No worries about where to park your car, just ride right up to Table Rock. One big hill -- you need to climb the Niagara Escarpment, but the path is smooth and wide. And the good news -- you get to ride it DOWN on the way home. It's about 15 miles from NOTL to the Falls. Bike path virtually the whole way. Have fun!

We recently cycled the Niagara Parks Garden Trail from Niagara on the Lake to Niagara Falls and back, a total of 40km. Being experienced road cyclists, it was a nice change to have a leisurely ride along the Niagara River. As it is a trail, you do have to watch out for pedestrians, dogs and other cyclists, but that is a small price to pay for seeing some amazing vistas.

This is a very good riding trail. We did the 30 km round trip between NOTL and York Road. The views of NY State are few and far between. No amenities on the trail except at a very good food market about 3 km outside NOTL. Maybe there are others, but we did not see them. Vineyards along the way that you can visit. The best, my opinion, is Reif Estate.

This trail along the Niagara Parkway features some of the most interesting sites in distance. We stated at the halfway point in Niagara Falls, CA. and went to Niagara on the Lake. Many interesting sites and scenes along the way. There is a bike/pedestrian path the supposedly goes from Niagara on the Lake (N) to Fort Erie (S). Well worth the trip. Many winery's on the Northern part of the trail with some having world class restaurants.
