mackenzie glen district park

This park is a great place to jog and has a beautiful pond. It has benches near the pound and is a relaxing place. I usually see a lot of parents bringing their children in that park. It also has a soccer field and a water park. I would recommend people to go to this park in summer around 5pm.

This park links up 15 km of trails, its a great place to take a relaxing walk. The park is always full of families feeding the ducks, and playing on the swings. Great place to relax.

Not a bad little place to play sports or take the kids on a sunny day. It has a large jungle gym and summer splash pad. Also a lake and boardwalk wrapping around the perimeter with lots of resident ducks and geese to enjoy.

We enjoy going to this splash pad every year as our children always have a blast. It's starting to look worn down though. Aside from the splash pad, there is a huge play area with a spongy, cushiony floor (can't think of the correct name for it) that is coming apart in pieces. It was a good idea to put it in because kids fall hard in that area when they are running around or jumping off platforms or going down slides and it needs major maintenance. The splash pad itself was disgusting the last time we went. Straws, toilet paper or tissue and water bottles all over the floor and last but not least, adults and kids wearing their clothes and getting soaked under the sprinklers. Not very sanitary and it looks ridiculous. Proper attire is recommended, i.e. swimwear, while entering the water zone for hygienic reasons.
