We stumbled across this place while out for a Sunday drive and decided to check it out. We were surprised to find it such a big place with so much to do. The petting zoo was super cute, especially the little baby lambs. The pancakes etc were delish and they are not cheap with the syrup. The wagon ride was fun as was the hike through the sugar bush but I was disappointed to find when we got there that the extra things to do in the woods cost extra. We didn't realize that and had left our cash in the car so we missed out on that. They do have signs but apparently we can't read and that left me disappointed. But over all it was a great day and we had a really good time. I would definitely recommend it, just make sure you bring cash for the extra stuff!

We visited White Meadows Farms last weekend for their Maple Syrup Festival. Their grounds are very well-organized and the "time travel tour" through the history of maple syrup production in Southern Ontario is among the best I've seen. And let's not forget the onsite restaurant where you can satisfy the appetite you built up out in the forest by chowing down on pancakes drenched in that yummy maple syrup. I would recommend it highly to "kids of all ages" - although parents of young children need to be aware that it's a long walk through the forest for kids under 5.

We had a wonderful visit to White Meadows Farm for a Maple Adventure! We began with a fantastic breakfast at the Pancake House. The cafeteria style service makes for very efficient service and there is always hot fresh food being served. I had the Niagara Gold - pancakes with peaches, whipped cream and make sugar and a Maple Hot Chocolate. It was delicious and about the most adorable breakfast around. We ventured out on the tractor ride to the forest where we stopped at various stops to learn about the history and process of making maple syrup. The stops were educational and really catered well to kids. Favorite stops included the lumber jack where we cut a wood coin and had it branded for $0.50 and maple taffy in the snow (sooo delucious!) for $1.00. My 5 year old had a great time and stayed interested which is impressive. Be sure to bring some cash for anything you want to buy on your hike as you're literally in the middle of the woods (small bills & coins). We returned back to the gift ship which was filled with an abundance of maple goodies and other local products - all very reasonably priced. Overall, an enjoyable few hours out and nice to have this lovely attraction a little off the beaten path! We will definitely be return visitors!

We return a couple of times during the winter season each year for big fluffy pancakes, maple baked beans and the entire breakfast experience!!!$6.99 gets you a scrambled eggs, pancake, sausage and potatoes meal, add a maple tea or coffee and you've got a winning combination for those cold mornings to enjoy with the whole family! Love that they compost too!!!Their sugar shack next door lets us purchase our take home jugs of syrup for the season along with maple infused goodies too many to list!

Went last March break with my grandson to spend the afternoon. The food is very good and the walk trough the maple sugar bush quite educational and fun to explore. Hope to make it again this year with both grandsons

Wonderful tour, very interesting. You can start with breakfast in the Pancake house with pancakes and maple syrup, they also have eggs, sausage, great breakfast! Then follow the whole procedure from the tree to the evaporation vats, everything in the process is covered. It is so much fun riding the wagon into the bush and getting to see how the sap is collected. They also cover how the process was done in the pioneer days. Then you get an awesome treat!!! Maple taffy on snow. Then it is off to the store to buy some maple syrup, I didn't realize there were so many varieties but you can taste them all and decide which you enjoy the most.

We are from Switzerland and visited the farm on our way to the Niagara Falls. We had breakfast there, which was absolutely great! Very friendly peopleThe tour was the highlight of our vacation in CanadaThe youngest son of the owner did a wonderful job explaining us how maple syrup is made. The shop is great and full of all this wonderful syrup. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience

Thank you for the review! I'm glad to hear that our staff was able to accommodate your curiosities, even though we didn't have available tours. I hope that we were able to help you leave the farm feeling like it was worth the visit. If you're ever visiting the area again we would love to have you back to try a tour or a breakfast in the pancake house. Thanks again for stopping by and being so persistent with the GPS - We've heard its a problem and we appreciate you plugging through and coming out despite the troubles.

We are locals so we get to enjoy trips to the farm several times over the winter and as much as possible now that they're open all summer. The food is always amazing and the varieties of syrup deserve a taste. We buy the dark by the gallon. The pancake house is a treasure for the region and Coco is the nicest most amazing dog you will ever meet! If I was a tourist from overseas or right next door I would include a visit here in the top two or three on my list of attractions: The Falls, wineries, and White Meadows. The Falls and Maple! Hey what's that leaf on our flag? Can it get more Canadian? Taking the sugar bush tour is a must. We were there on Wednesday and we'll be back up there this week again. So close to the city! You shouldn't miss out on this gem regardless of where you're from! DF

We brought our extended family here one winter and on another occasion friends from out of town. The food is sooooo good, the staff are great and there is lots of the family to do here during maple season. If you ever wanted to learn about how maple syrup is made stop in!

Hello John, First off we'd like to thank you for visiting! It's so amazing to hear that we could be a highlight of your trip - It is certainly helpful to know that you received good service and enjoyed the tour. If you would like to see a whole other side of our tours, we encourage you to stop by in the spring season - the Sugar Shack will be in full swing with the tours changing from Discover Maple to Sugar Bush Adventure, with staff in period costume - reenacting the discovery and stages of maple syrup production. We hope to see you again if you're ever in the area.Thank you again for letting us know about your visit!

Just had a good breakfast in a great Canadian setting. The new barn with exposed wooden rafters, aptly named "The Pancake House" is really well organized and great for families of any size.Good exhibition showing the making of the syrup and a good little gift shop.Loads of little kids doing the Frog Run.....preparation for next week's Easter Egg Hunt.Didn't have time to take the 1 hour guided tour (walking and tractor ride)......next time we go for breakfast!

Spring 2014 or at least that's what the calendar says and I have just returned from my Spring pilgrimage to White Meadows for pancakes and maple syrup. Like every year the syrup and pancakes are excellent and the sausage and home fries are a great accompaniment to them. The best part of White Meadows is that the syrup is on the tables in the pancake house and there is no limit to the amount that you can use. I have been to other spring maple syrup and pancake events and the syrup at them was rationed out. So if you like real maple syrup this is the place to go.My favourite grade of syrup made at White Meadows is the Dark grade and it reminds me so much of the syrup my relatives in the Ottawa valley used to make for the family. Dark, rich and delicious. Good work White Meadows, keep up the good work and I will be back for my syrup fix in the future.

This was my first time to see the process of the maple syrup production from tree to table .The breakfast was great. Then we had the adventure to the sugar bush.We went back in time from the beginning of maple sap harvesting to modern day technology. The walk for young and old on the trail for the adventure was easy and the distance perfect ,..Stop at the gife shop for some great maple syrup to take home
