It's was my first time fishing with captain Dave and it was a pleasure. I wasn't someone who don't like fishing and for my first experience with Dave was a great experience. On the five of us I took the bigger Walleye 30 inch 10 pounds !!!! And I didn't like eating fish but Dave said that he had a secret receipice and before say it I don't like it I need to task it and finally it was REALY good. I recommend everyone who wants to fish and cough big walleye go with captain Dave around October or November. So thanks again Dave.

This was a first for all four of us and it was a great experience with Captain Dave. You can`t go wrong when you have all the right ingredients to make your day a true success. Top gear, great boat, nice weather and last but not least a great captain. Captain Dave is professional and experienced. He was ready to go at 6:00am brought us to the right fishing spots we where catching fish in no time and it did not stop all day long. We were catching and releasing rainbow trouts by lunchtime since we already had our quota. In resume we caught and kept 8 rainbow trouts and 3 koho salmons(average 9 pounders). We released 9 rainbow trouts and that's not counting the ones that we lost while reeling them in. Great exercise and thrills. Thank you again captain Dave.

So I get to do a lot of fishing across Africa, Asia and North America; both self guided and with charters and this fishing trip was up there with the best. Fishing Captains should preferably be knowledgeable and good at what they do and sometimes your lucky enough to also find one who is a great people person. Dave delivered on both accounts in my opinion. A breakdown of the trip went something like this. Dave sent us good map to find his dock and was available by phone to answer some questions prior to the trip, including what we had to bring along. He was on time at 6 am in his wheelhouse and ready to go. Sat us down, made us feel at home, got through the safety brief and explained how he ran the boat, and how we would operate for the day. About 45 min later we were into our first fish and it was non stop action for about 3 hours and then slowed down to about a fish every half and hour so things were never really slow until we got back to the marina at 3pm. …… and the results? Caught and mostly released 24 Salmon and Steelhead between the two of us. and the few we caught Dave cleaned and filleted..

This was a fantastic experience. A full day on lake Ontario and packed with action. We all caught big trout and salmon. Captain Dave knows what he is doing. I am still talking about the trip to my buddies. I am gathering a crew for a return trip shortly.

Superbe journée de pêche passé avec le capitaine de bateau Dave. En plus d'être un excellent guide il sait prendre soins de sa clientèle. Il est soigneux et à l'écoute. Avec mon père de 82 ans et mes frères nous avons passé une journée inoubliable. En plus d'avoir pris nos quotas de truite arc-en-ciel, nous avons fait durer notre plaisir en n'en remettant 10 de plus à l'eau. Des saumons Chinook étaient aussi au rendez-vous.
