This museum in lovely Port Hope is amazing! It has an extensive collection of fire vehicles and apparatus. The main gallery has recently been re-vamped and includes an interesting exhibit of fire fighters who went overseas during WW 2 to assist the British. My favourite thing was the new Forest Fire base camp!Kids will love it and it's close to the waterfront where you can walk along the beach.

We really enjoyed visiting the Firefighter's Museum. There are so many antique firetrucks and equipment here as well as photos and information. There was no admission cost and the displays and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

It was really fun. There were staff to ask questions but they also highlighted interesting objects. I thought it was great for people interested in the history and was educational but, what was really nice is it was fun as an amusement visit too. They had an awesome collection of fire trucks and some interactive features as well.

A wonderful & free way to spend a few hours with or without kids or for anyone interested in all things "fire related"

Now this is a most interesting museum. They have worked very hard to gather fire fighter items and memorabilia from all over the place and we found it most fascinating. The volunteer on the desk was also quite knowledgeable. Anyone interested in our past history should visit this museum. We'll go back.

This small museum is a treasure that everyone should visit when in Port Hope. The wealth of antiques and knowledge is amazing. Definitely worth the time.

This small museum is well organized for the amount of space they have, and the antique items are in great condition. I even tried on one of the fire fighter suits.

History is always fascinating to me and I have visited the Fire Fighters Museum several times. Always something interesting to learn about a profession that intrigues many of us and one that is so essential to our safety.
