I'm so glad, and proud that Kingston finally built this centre in the downtown core.Within walking distance of dozens of restaurants and bars, and close to downtown hotels, the K Rock has brought dozens of events to Kingston that we would not have got without it.And it's a perfect size for Kingston. With 5500 capacity it fits our demographics.Good work Kingston.

Nice place coming from peterborough this is much better than the mem center I thing I did not like was they could drink in all the stands wasn't a fan of drunk girls dumping beer on me while they danced away

Not very good considering the money yo build it, no parking hardly ever,, they do have event parking but go early or you wont get any, also if you have elderly or limited walking,, its not the place to be

Was here for the Canadian Figure Skating Championships. Sound and jumbo-tron were fine. Seating was very comfortable and sight lines were good. Given the RUSH at breaks the concessions and bathroom line-ups were not too bad. Concession food prices and quality were more than acceptable. Bathrooms maybe could have been cleaned-up a little more frequently (wiping up water on sink tops and emptying waste baskets). The staff throughout were very friendly and accommodating. Big issue was figuring out the quirky city event parking rates - but Kingston seemed to realize that and had staff on site in all the surrounding lots for the Saturday.

Went to the Skate Canada Championship and wasn’t disappointed. We had wine with snacks while watching. Seating is comfortable.Parking and snow removal is a problem.

Attended a Kingston Frontenacs hockey game with our Pee Wee team. It was a great time for all, kids really enjoyed it! If you inquire, you can get discounted seats for youth sports teams on certain nights. Also, they have "experiences" for them to involved in the game itself, so ask about that. I have noticed the odd restaurant offering dinner and tickets in a package, some of these are really good value. Try to get seats on the SIDE of the rink. There are really no bad seats in this arena, it's VERY well laid out, but if you sit on the ends, you have to look through the protective mesh. It's still fine, but the side seats are better for sure. And if you can , try to get on the end of rows, so you don't have to climb over everyone to visit the bathroom or ??Keep in mind that the food in this venue is pricey like most, so feed the kiddies before hand to avoid the $50 bill for a few popcorn and fries. There are healthy food choices like food cups and such, so that's cool. Also, my wife's purse was searched and she lost her special bottled water she likes to keep in hand...not too happy. This is so they can sell you a water for $4 inside, NICE!Other than the usual gouging for food and drinks, a fun night for family, and good hockey!

Nice small venue for events such as this. Every seat isn't vad really. Concession food was really good, if a little pricey. Parking lots all around with reasonable rates (relative to Toronto prices). Seats are hard on the rear when you sit for such long days, so bring a cushion or blanket if you do an event such as this there. Best washroom facilities are upper levels near concessions (for ladies), most stalls :-)

I have been numerous times. Seen Elton John, Styx, hockey, theatrical, ice skate competitions. Nice small venue for some big acts. A little confusing to find seats, and they are not comfy! Don't wander into the Club Section or you'll get a slap on the wrist if you aren't "special". Excuuuuuuuse meeee! to paraphrase Steve Martin. But seriously, a great spot if you are fortunate to get good seats to see a class act!

We watch the pre-game USA vs Sweden today. I really liked the K Rock Centre. Conveniently located in downtown Kingston. Lots of parking, but the best was: We could buy healthy fruit-cups for $2.50, cheaper than hot-dogs and nachos. I could not get a second one at the end of the second period. All sold out. I guess the people in Kingston discover healthy food options versus the ususal "Junk-Food" at arenas. Super, Congratulations.

First Kingston Frontenacs game and had a great time. Nice rink, located in a very nice, central location.

This building is great inside. Concerts here are good to attend. The only reason I gave it an average review is because I believe they should be able to bring more concerts to town. I believe even Belleville brings concerts as good as they do and they don't have the same type of population or building to do this.

We saw a Kingston Frontenacs Jr A game here, and had a great time. It is exciting hockey, they keep you entertained between periods, and the venue is perfect - every seat in the place is great. The only issue is parking downtown - get there early, or you'll spend a lot of time looking for a spot.

Very nice and cozy place for a hockey or concert. Yes we (residents of Kingston) paid a tonne of money for this place, but it's done and now we need to enjoy it.

The down side, if you are an alcohol consumer, be prepared for limited selection. There was only 2 beer choices and 2 alcoholic beverage choices. If you didn't like beer or vodka based drinks, you were out of luck

The K Rock Centre is a modern and world class facility for viewing hockey games and music concerts. The food and beverage offerings are the expected things with the typical high prices of todays arenas. Every seat in the house is a good seat.
