We went to Lock 32 because Just for the halibut was too busy and was disappointed with the fish and chips I ordered. The fish was over done and hard.

When the weather is nice, this is a busy spot for boats, either going through the lock or tied up at the docks, enjoying Bobcaygeon; restaurants, shopping or just tied up like a cottage. People are everywhere when it is not raining.

This town is so quaint and the swing bridges, for cars and pedestrians are so neat, I love it. There are great little shops and places to visit. You have to go!

Although we don't own our own boat, we enjoy watching the boats pass through the locks. There are many spots near these locks where you can sit and enjoy the water views. A few people were having a picnic nearby.

This is a fun area to watch boats lock through on the Trent-Severn Waterway. Lots of shopping and dinning close by.

Had hot roast beef sandwich and fries. The quantity was good, the quality could have been a bit better. I would go back.

Sit by the water and watch the beautiful and numerous boats lock through. On two of the prettiest lakes in the Kawarthas....Sturgeon and Pigeon Lakes. You feel deep in the heart of Cottage Country, yet only and hour and a half from the big city. Bobcaygeon is the "Hub" of the Kawarthas, and as such is blessed with natural beauty and numerous activities. So much history in this perfect, wonderful, summer haven. Those lucky enough to go there, are delighted by what Bobcaygeon has to offer the whole family, couples, or groups. The local people are warm friendly, and helpful. You will want to live there yourself after one visit!
