We met up with some friends recently and the Migratory Bird Sanctuary was a good half way point to rendezvous. Lots of nice hiking trails for snowshoeing. We spent 3 hours shoeing and didn't catch all the trails. There is an interpretive center and parking lot, but we missed it because we arrived at 11 am and it opens at noon. Apparently they offer some gear for rental when they are open.I'm sure this would offer great nature hikes in the warm months - with lots of birds to watch.Washrooms during open hours at Interpretive center. Otherwise, it's a porta pottyIt is a couple kms. East of Upper Canada Village attractions. Look for the big sign that say Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary Campground and travel about 3 kms to the interpretive center and parking lot
