Free access for local tax payers to an amazing range of materials, super friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic staff and all in convenient locations across the City.Need help finding something? Then simply ask and our experience is that you will be delighted. If you are new to the area and haven't tried the Guelph Library system then we strongly suggest you make this a place to go in the very near future.

The GPL is an important Guelph institution, even though our local politicians don't appreciate its value enough to build a new main library. My wife and I frequent the Bullfrog Mall Branch. The librarians are first rate, always helpful and friendly. The space is well used by readers as well as others -- witness the well-attended knitting group there on Wednesday mornings. Their website is user-friendly and the handiest way to score a good read -- an e-book or a "real book".

We usually go to the one on Eramosa across from Shopper's Drug Mart but it's very small and does not have too many books. Still, it's idea if you want to get on the waiting list for a New Release and my wife usually finds at least a couple of books on the shelf that she wants to read.The Main branch is much larger of course, but you have to pay for parking. We never did when living in Milton, ON so this seems strange, but probably necessary; if it were free, shoppers would simply park there instead of a regular parking lot.

Friendly, helpful staff. Creative events for kids and teens ( kudos on getting teens involved! They are so often passed over...). Awesome selection of books for a relatively small city. Knowledgeable staff happy to help, do special orders, etc.

My Granddaughter and I always enjoy the children's area! The people working there are very friendly and are always there to help.

Karen at the east end library is the best. She is so helpful my children love going there. I just wish it was more accessible to walkers.

Guelph Public Library e uma biblioteca muito boa tem diversos para todas as idades e oferece milhares de livros e revistas.E uma opção muito boa para quem gosta de ler livros.

E um lugar interessante, porem pequeno. Nao e como as bibliotecas de grandes cidades, como a de Orlando ou Nova York, que sao apaixonantes, mas para quem gosta vale a pena.
