great small Zoo...people look after their animals very well....kids love it there as do the parents....easy access off the highway

Wonderful family owned zoo where the animals are treated like family....but due to constant harassment by government, now closed to the public.

Although not a large zoo it is an interesting place to take little kids They can see animals up close. Clean, well maintained. Knowledgeable accommodating staff.

This zoo is a private zoo but is actually closed...sort of. They offer tours for a donation which are organized through their facebook page. Animals range from fox, bear, deer, two lions, two tigers, turkeys, alligators, pigs, goats, sheep, different types of monkeys, snakes, etc. The tour is approx 2 hours and offers an up close and personal tour of this private collection of animals. I would recommend this over a large zoo much like the Toronto Zoo any day. The exhibits are small but animals well cared for. Our kids had a ton of fun here and are asking to go back again already, even though we were there less than a week ago. Highly recommend. There is no food or drink available. Its on a private farm so its what you expect.
