For decades, the center of old Brampton with its bandstand and winter skating. In the heart of the city, steps from downtown, this epitomizes Brampton for me, a city I have lived in since 1974. A great antidote to urban sprawl and iPhones. Relax under the big old trees and let the world go by.

I live not far from Gage Park and I believe it to be a nice Park. They do a lot of events thru out the year. Many people have gone there for wedding pictures. Its great for families. The winter they have the outdoor skating which is very nice.

Ice skating here during the winter is lovely. During the warm months be sure to bring insect repellant, especially at night.

Each season brings a beautiful array of entertainment for the family. Enjoyed the horse drawn carriage rides. Celebrated Remembrance Day. Beautiful ceremony.

I grew up in Brampton and used to love to go to Gage Park. But because of how Brandon has changed dramatically in the past eight years so has the beauty of the park.

Gage Park provides a moment of solace for lunch or a joyous picnic for those at play. Spacious and filled with benches to rest on, Gage Park has historical significance to Bramptonians. Near the bustling summer market it often hosts civic cultural activities. From playground fun to ice skating on the pathways, Gage Park is a centre for family fun. Joyous gardens permeate the warmth of this park in summer. Gage Park welcomes one and all to enjoy the surroundings it provide. A true gem in the Brampton Ontario city core .

Nice light display during the holidays and a cute little park and water play area in the summer. Local walk to restaurants, art gallery and museum. Decent but not that much to offer.

I have been coming to here since I was little. I have many fond memories of Gage Park. Memories of dancing at various music festivals with my Dad and other family members, ice skating in the winter, swinging on the swings with my family in the summer, enjoying a stroll around the path in the Fall and admiring all the beautiful lights at Christmastime. Those are just a few of the wonderful memories I have. I love Gage Park!

Gage Park serves as a multi-functional park hosting many city events, including weekly concerts, Brampton Rotary Club’s Annual Rib n’ Roll, Classic Cars and Legendary Stars weekend, supervised splashpad during summers. During winters, its circular paved path is turned into a public ice rink, spectacularly decorated as part of Brampton’s Tree Lighting celebration. Parking is available underneath City Hall, just across the street or at metered on-street spots. The parking entrance for City Hall is located on George Street South. Parking in downtown’s public garages is FREE on weekends, after 7 pm on weekdays and for the first hour on weekdays before 7 pm. During busy days, it can be difficult to get parking however you will definitely be able to find one.Its a lovely place to hangout even if you have nothing much to do there. Its a well maintained park and can be visited all year round.

Nice local downtown park a large piece of Brampton history. It's free and in the summer often has musical events and in the winter the park is turned into a skating rink.

My greatest sadness about moving out of Brampton is Gage Park. Any time of year there was always something to do here. The scenery is beautiful and the skating was a fond part of my childhood. I go back to walk Gage Park as often as possible.
