They have done a very good job of restoring this church and stop on the Underground Railroad. You will learn a LOT you didn't know about slavery in Canada and the US, and much more about African contributions to Canadian history.

If you are visiting this area and have a couple of hours to spare, it would be well spent touring this museum.

Kenn provided us with a tour of the historic church located on the grounds as well as a history of early black settlers in southern Ontario. It was very interesting and gave me a much greater appreciation of the hardships & determination of those who made the journey. There is also a small log cabin & artifact collection highlighting notable black citizens in the area.

Just attended one of their annual fundraisers, Ribs and Ragtime. What a beautiful venue for an outdoor celebration.
