Lovely beach for sunning and swimming at dawn, midday and sunset. We visited Leeward Beach on several occasions during our recent visit and also three years ago- it is within sight of the larger resorts on Grace Bay, but never seems to be busy or crowded. We loved it!

A definite hit for the young crowd! Every day, we dropped off our teens at Leeward, and they had a great time socializing with other water-sports enthusiasts!

This was my first time visiting this stretch of beach. I parked by the side of the road at Pelican Beach, and couldn't believe how crystal clear the blue water was. I had planned to just walk on the beach, and was disappointed I hadn't worn my swimsuit. The water was beautiful and the beach was completely open and empty. I saw many conch shells as I walked along. Highly recommend if you're looking to get away from the busier Grace Bay area!

The boats are large In this port and the beach is beautiful. There is a cafe with a local market with a deli. This is worth a short stop if you are looking for an inexpensive deli type place to eat.

Great spot with few people, bring your chairs and drinks as there is no service on the beach but it is worth the trouble!

This was our second favorite beach that we went to on the island (I won't mention the first.)We loved it. We parked our rental in the small access lot past all of the Grace Bay hustle. We were prepared for the day with chairs, food, beverages and books and quickly found a nice spot on the uncrowded beach. We spent the day relaxing. Another reviewer noted :'there is nothing to do here.' So true, and so nice. Things to do, I have. The water and beach are gorgeous. If you are looking to get away, this is a great place to go.

We stayed in a villa at Leeward beach and enjoyed having Leeward right in front of us! Wonderful blue water, soft sand, and lots of seashells! We prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of places like Grace Bay and this was a perfect spot for my family and I!

This is next to Grace Bay and is basically deserted. It is very peaceful but there isn't anything there to actually do.

Beautiful, private and easy to get to. We really enjoyed this beach, no crowds and very private only a couple other people there anytime we visited so you basically had a beach to yourself!

This beach was easy to find and had ample parking available. It is a great beach, one of our favourite on the island and one frequented by locals. As reviewed below, this is not the packed-beach umbrellaed-lounged chaired-roped off type of beach but a pure, sandy, quiet beach. The sunset here is also beautiful, so bring a drink, a towel to sit on and a snack and watch the sun dip down. The water is deeper than on some of the islands other beaches, but perfect for my kids (aged 5 and 8) to boogie board in, although we had to be in the water with them. My little one wiped out a few times, but as we are all water people, we know that that is par for the course. The sand is soft and clean and there is very little seaweed or garbage on the beach.I highly recommend this beach but note that there are no facilities avaialble here.

Grace Bay is beautiful, but it's also inundated with beach chairs, umbrellas, water sports, motorized watercraft, roped-off areas, etc....and of course, millions of people (OK, maybe not millions, but an awful lot).Leeward Beach is basically the far east extension of Gracie, but boasting basically nothing but awesome beach. Not rich in resort activity on that end, there aren't many distractions. We MUCH prefer Leeward to Grace Bay proper.

We walked AND biked, twice to this beach, it is so beautiful, private and clean. On my first solo walk, I found lots of conch shells, one was magnificent, so I kept that one! A very private clean beach with wonderful small rock escarpments and rock formations that slow down the waves from crashing in....around these rock formations, is where you will find a large assortment of wonderful sea shells, washed ashore from the nearby coral reef off shore a few hundred feet away, where the snorkel boats hang out.

Great beach. We parked at the sunset beach access and our car was broken into. We had the doors locked and no valuables in sight. All that was in sight was some shorts and a button up shirt which were taken. Police and rental car company suggest leaving car open with no valuables in the vehicle. If this happens to you don't leave the scene. The police take this very serious and want to take finger prints. Otherwise beach is nice. Pretty quiet. Lots of space to be by yourself.

Lots of construction going on at this end of the island, but it was very private and quiet. Beautiful beach!

This beach is much quieter than Grace Bay beach. We only went to this beach once while visiting the Turks and Caicos, but it was a nice beach experience.
