SunnySide Bar on 7 mile beach in Negril , is mellow , cheap, friendly , perfectly located , right by the water. Order a Dirty Banana or a super Cold Red Stripe from the nicest bar owners on the beach . Try it , you won't regret it .

Great little bar and there's always a fun crowd hanging out! Really loved meeting Maureen - a very sweet person and she makes the best Pina Coladas and Dirty Bananas!!! Can't wait to go back again!!!

Great little friendly bar with ice cold beer and good music playing. Nice stop off when doing the 7mile beach walk. Such a lovely spot we stayed for quite a few!

We first met Maureen and Robert when they were at For Real next to CocoLaPalm. When For Real was bought out and we heard that the bar was gone, we were so upset. Not to worry, we heard that they had started their own bar further down the beach. We make it a point to walk down to Sunnyside every trip (we always stay at Coco). Maureen's nephew Odeon is very friendly and we always spend time catching up with them. On our last visit to Negril, we showed up just after Maureen left for the day and Odeon called her on his cell so I could say hi and make plans to see her later in the trip. They've got a great little place - awesome drinks, good vibes and cheap prices. Definitely stop by to see them!

We swam to this little beach bar a few times while staying at Grand Pineapple--as I said to my husband, "Who said we don't have a swim-up bar?"--Maureen makes a great Planter's Punch--our daughter was along for one visit and she enjoyed a delicious fresh banana smoothie (that's what I'd call it in the US, in Jamaica I'm pretty sure they say "daiquiri"--and it only becomes an adult beverage if you stipulate "with rum")--Anyway, check this place out--we found Maureen to be very welcoming and, as stated, she makes a good drink!

We liked this place most of all our walk down 7 mile, cold $1.50 red stripe under a tin roof right on the beach, when I think of beach bars this is it.
