It was a fun afternoon. We did the bike tour that included a little history lesson and horticulture. Great small hills. The tour ended with a delicious lunch of pumpkin soup that was creamy yet dairy and gluten free. We also did the Kayaking which was fun fun fun!

I was here on a press trip, and luckily had the pleasure of river tubing here as one of our planned excursions. It was such a relaxing float through the river. Very scenic and serene. What was the best part? Our outstanding host, Orlando was well trained, fun, and made the tour that much more dreamy! Oh, and I can't forget he treated us to soothing limestone foot massages and fresh coconut water. What's not to love?!

My wife and I booked a River Bumpkin tour through the resort concierge in Montego Bay. We didn't want to do the tourist trap thing, we can go to an adventure park at home. What we got was an actual look at Jamaica. The drive up into the hills was it's own adventure. The driver was real good about letting us know about the area and other local attractions on the way up. The tour guide we had was Suleiman other wise known as Rasta. What a great time! Rasta had a great knowledge of the jungle knew all the vegetation and had some great historical stories about the sites along the river. Yes there are a couple of tame rapids and you might fall off into the water like I did but I wanted to get wet anyway. Half way through the tour we did stop for a nice relaxing limestone pedicure message. We also got to have some coconut juice right out of the coconut. If you are a little adventurous you can sample some of the jelly coconuts after you drink the juice. They will warn you of the good side effects. If you don't want a limestone pedi you can go on the rope swing into the river and have a little swim in the deeper water. Rasta said, hey! Time to go so we went on the other half of the river tour. When we got to the end Rasta washed off the rest of the limestone and applied oil to finish the message. What a way to finish. But we were then offered some really delicious pumpkin soup which really hit the spot. One of the best vacation tours I have ever had.

Not a lot of rapids but it was still really fun. There is a nice surprise in store when you stop part way through the trip and the meal at the end was awesome - particularly the pumpkin soup!!

My husband and I first learned of the River Bumpkin tours at our resort, Sandals Montego Bay. The guides were giving out free 'limestone' pedicures & coconuts to drink from. It was so nice! We decided later on that we'd book a tour with them based on a short promo video played in the lobby. We booked the "tubing" adventure - this was the highlight of our trip! Our guides, 'dancer' and the 'love doctor' had extensive knowledge of the land and all that it offers the country. It was a truly exceptional trip, and these guys were two of the kindest we've ever met. They were genuinely interested in giving us the best possible experience and they far surpassed our expectations. They went out of their way to bring our photos to our hotel later that day and even offered to bring local eats to our hotel for us as they passed through town that day. The drive back to the farm is what they call a nice 'butt massage' as it's clearly off the beaten path, but was a memorable experience & one that I'd do over and over again!

Siamo arrivati in macchina, eravamo in 4 In famiglia . WOW!!!!!!
