This was my favorite beach in Rincon. Great place for watching people and surfers. Domes Beach is located near The El Faro Lighthouse. This beach is not good for swimming but great surfing. Calypso restaurant is located near here and have decent sandwiches and drinks. If you want a quiet beach and enjoy surfers or surfing this is the best beach in the area.

Quiet and pretty beach. Fun to sit back and watch the surfers, not good swiming. Very hippy chic and fun people watching, very pretty in morning and evening. Quiet and not a lot of people. Nice place to read and relax if you dont want to get in the water.

Great beach to sit and watch local surfers with skills. We ended up staying over 2 hours and grabbed lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards.

Beach is fine, but the public beach in down town is easier to walk. But, You get to watch the Real surfers here. What beauty.

This beach is beautiful but is very open about not welcoming tourists at this surf spot. You would be lucky to be able to surf there without trouble. That being said we went just to walk on the beach and had no problems.
GastroBar
Very nice beach. Don Rafael "El Viejo" makes some exquisite natural fruit frappes, right there on the beach.

This is a nice area at the end of the road by the huge radio dome.Lots of parking, plenty of waves during the winter months and food isn't to hard to find.

...and I emphasize surf beach. This is not water for swimming - I learned the hard way after getting out too far and really having to fight to get back to shore - and yes, the reef/rocks got me! In fact - after I attempted to warn the family down the beach to not let their children out in the water - we watched as three surfers had to speed to their rescue as the same current got them and started to wrap them around the jagged rocks of the lighthouse. All of that said - this is a FANTASTIC beach to watch the local surfers or find a very isolated and private spot to layout, picnic, etc... The beach is very clean and surprisingly quiet - especially on the lighthouse end. There are no facilities, thus be sure to pack your necessities (towels, chairs, snacks, beverages, etc...).Enjoy sitting back and listening to the waves crash while watching the surfers catch some waves!!!

Super surf beach! Shade for the extras in the party who don't surf... Nice to relax and can walk up to the lighthouse and see the sights!

My partner is a surfer and he had fun. I was a tinch bored since it's too rough for swimming dhe to the proximity of jagged reef. There was nice shade however and before I ran out of reading material I had a relaxing moment.

Best area beach to watch surfing and catch the rays.... We were there a week before a big surf competition and thoroughly enjoyed watching the practice runs and the big waves....

Waves are a blast to ride if you are a strong swimmer. Also fun to watch the local surfers! No facilities on beach, so remember to pack the necessities (e.g. water, snacks, towels, lotion, etc.).

Very nice area with souvineer shops near Marias Beach which is a surfer beach. Its less rough here and better swimming- looks like mostly locals here and u can drive up close to beach with your car and unpack all your stuff.

Domes is a jewel among many gorgeous beaches in Rincon. It feels secluded even though it is not far from town. It sits next to the lighthouse which is a beauty in itself. The vegatation surrounding the beach makes it feels as if you are in a private paradise. It is not a good swimming beach, because it is way, but it is a great spot to see good surfing.
