Floating down the lazy river and the three slides were fun. Battling the crowds to find a seat in the afternoon was not.

If you're staying at El Conquistador, ask about the reduced rate (after 4 PM?). If a reduced rate is available, take advantage of it! This is a small park and easily experience in a short time.

It was better than I expected it to be. It was an ok water park. Do not pay for admission unless you are going to do the slides, because it is not free.

Fun for the kids but it is pricey and they would run out of option quickly. Try the discounted times later in the day and you will be happier.

We had a bucket of beer ($25 for 6) and a really fresh chicken wrap while enjoying the infinity pool and the amazing ocean views.

This is a cool place and my children LOVED it (8 and 11). It is very safe and not too crowded when we visited. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the food at the restaurant, while okay, is quite limited.

This waterpark is a lot of fun for the entire family. There are many pools, slides and things to do. The pools overlook a majestic ocean, there is a awesome wave pool and there is a lazy river which is very relaxing. The slides are the most fun because they are diverse and everyone is capable of riding them. The largest slide is the most fun and has the most speed and action. In addition to water activities, there are restaurants and airbrush tattoo shops. The Coqui Water Park is enjoyable and I recommend it to anyone that visits the El Conquisdator.

My kids loved it, easy to keep track of the kids. Right on the ocean so delightful even for those parents that dont enjoy sliding!

There is an additional charge to get into the water park from the resort. The park is clean and has nice features for all ages. The park is small but good.

I was lucky enough to stay at the El Conquistador last weekend on a spur of the moment getaway from our home on St. Croix 90 miles away to Puerto Rico. I was with my 2 kids (4 and 5) as well as my friends family who has a 1 and 6 year old. Our room was right outside the Coqui water park and I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Saturday. The water park was great. It is a very good size for our kids age (the 4, 5, and 6 year old). All the older kids swim so we were able to sit in a chair and let them roam without worrying too much about them getting lost or too far away. I wish it had more slides but our kids were able to stay busy for the entire day and were quite tired after our 6 hour visit. I enjoyed the slides as well, and watching my oldest son brave the big speed slide was fantastic (he liked it after going on it a few times but didn't love it the way he did the tube slide). Many complain that there is a fee to enter but I was actually kind of glad there was a fee as it kept the crowds down. I paid $53 for myself and my 2 kids. There were maybe 50-100 people there and the place is rated for 850. Needless to say there were no lines for the slides or tubes. Another plus is I felt the restaurant/bar area had reasonable prices. They had margarita's on special for $6, frozen drinks were up to $10 but were excellent (mango frozen mojito) and beers could be had for $5. For a resort this is not bad at all. The food prices were also reasonable and I think we ended up dropping around $175 for 3 adults and 5 children for the day including a few adult beverage. Much cheaper than a day at a stateside water park.I should also mention that the park was very clean, the bathrooms were constantly being cleaned and I was impressed overall. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there are only 3 water slides and while the staff was very friendly I do wish they had life guard chairs that sat up high as I felt the life guards were a bit lax. If your kids aren't good swimmers your day may not be quite as enjoyable as ours was. I would definitely check this place out though if you are staying at the El Conquistador with your family!

This was a nice option at a resort but it seems there are no rules. I have floated on a lazy river at other water parks but never I have I experienced people just walking their tube or kids swimming under me while I'm in mine!

The key to a fun time at Coqui is perfecting your 'butt-surfing' style and form. We had a very active contest with 10-12 'competitors'. It's only scary on your first run. After that, you want to slide as far across the landing pool as you can.

Like: go on a weekday when no one is there. Kids will love it.dislike: water park is not included in the resort, you have to pay extra.
