Just Walgreens & 2 other stores open when visited. Great spot to grab snacks on way to beach or for evening munchies & souvenoirs.

We saw a sign indicating there was a mall. When we got there we we informed that there were only two stores. It seems that at one time there had been a small mall because there were a lot of empty storefronts. We stopped in Walmart next door to pick up a few souvenirs.

Had a wonderful time, stayed in Racquet Club on Isla verde, had no parking for the first three days and had to pay private parking, then got parking at the place we rented for $10 a day. It was inconvenient but apart from that it was awesome.Party festival on July 25th, very nice.Enjoyable beach all the time, and places to go not far awau.

There apparently is some confusion about what this "mall" is - it basically is a set of three or so restaurants (one a Denny's) and a couple of tourist-y shops. There is a small underground parking garage. This is NOT a large shopping mall with upscale stores!

We wanted to have lunch before our flight back to New York, so we visited the Isla Verde Mall, at 6777 Isla Verde, Carolina, Puerto Rico 00979, and decided to go to the Pizza Hut located at this open mall. It was lunch time and they offer in their own menu 3 choices for $5.99, $ 6.99 or $ 7.99. Well....to make it short...they played the "bait and switch" game. And the waiter started by saying: "we don't have the salad that you want, we don't have the salad dressing that you want, we don't even have plain vinegar and oil, we don't have the pizza offer, we don't have the calzone offer.....Why don't you order from the regular menu, those pizzas we do have!" Which makes one wonder.....if they have pizza dough, how come they could not make the pizza from the offer??? So, we left the premisses and had a wonderful lunch experience at the nearby Ponderosa, yes Ponderosa still exists in Puerto Rico, and it is GREAT!

A lot of nice shops, a lot of walking. It was very interesting looking around even if you do not shop. The same brands as in NY city.
