This club would be great a decade ago for me. The average age is mid-20's and I'm in my 30's. I did enjoy the music and the DJ's had different vibes for upstairs and downstairs. It was a Saturday night, so it was packed. Admission is $20 pp so that was about average for a decent club. There were a few Bachelorette parties. You can elect for the bottle service, but the private bottle areas are pretty small with just wooden benches due to the booze that was spilling out everywhere. Bring some decent shoes and clothes to wear. They say that you can't wear sneakers, but my husband forgot his shoes and they let us in without any problems. I read a review about crazy drink prices, but our bill was cheap $32 for 5 small drinks (rum and coke) and a bottled water. We didn't get there until after midnight and stayed until after 3 and the party was still going strong. The bathrooms upstairs were a problem for me. You stood in line literally for a half hour and there was a bouncer for the women's bathroom with a chain across the hall and would let in maybe 3 people at once, it was insane. We had 3 guys and 2 girls in our group and the guys could not believe that this was happening since they just breezed into the men restroom. If I'm paying admission, i don't want to spend half my time in line to pee. Also, if you smoke they will make you check your cigarettes in at the door, you literally cannot hold them in your pocket. I liked this because I wasn't overwhelmed with smoke the whole time. I enjoyed my visit, but probably won't be back.

Okay, so I'm only 18, but Brava was literally the best!! Such a great atmosphere. I danced on the stage the entire night (recommending this, because it looked packed on the floor) and even met some really nice girls who we danced with all night. We reserved online so it made it cheaper and we got there super early so we didn't have to wait in line. I screen shot my reservation and thankfully I did, because their internet went down and couldn't verify! We weren't VIP or anything, but I had so much fun! The music was perfect to dance to and they passed out these glowing things. I can't explain how much fun this place was!! If you're going to Puerto Rico you have to go here!

The people that work here take themselves wayyyyy to seriously. It is such a hassle and almost so offensive just getting in, there is a bad taste in your mouth after that. I did not have fun here. They do play a good amount of hip hop and pop music, so if that is what you are looking for, then check it out.

So here's the thing about Brava. You have to A. be in the mood to go B. like to club C. ready to party. If you get there earlier in the night like 10:30 or earlier, there isn't really a wait to get in. However, once you do get in it is a tad bit empty. But would you rather spend 20-30 min in line or at the bar? Your call. Happy hour goes until 1am with 3 dollar rum and cokes. We've been twice and the first time we got there way early and sipped on our strong happy hour drinks until it started getting bumpin' and then the other night we got there around midnight and he'd to wait inline for about 25 min. For tourists the cover charge is 20 dollars. It's cheaper if you are a local. Best night to go would be Saturday or Friday. Thursday is college ID Night, so it's full of young locals. In order to get in you have to be dressed to impress. Guys have to have pants on and nice shoes; they won't let you in in sneakers. Most girls are in tight little mini dresses and huge high heels. The place is a good time. There are 2 bars and the top bar is usually less crowded. 2 dj's, one on top and one on bottom. It's fun, but you gotta be into that type of scene. Both times were great for us. I think they close at 5 or 6 in the am. We have yet to close the place!

Ok so I have been to Brava several times in the past over the years.Located in the El San Juan Hotel, it was the only real club in San Juan.I just went back this past Friday night, and was so disappointed. It was 3 ladies all dressed up and I got in immediately because I was staying at the hotel. We got in at around midnight and it was almost empty. We went straight to the bar, ordered 3 Grey Goose and sodas and was given 3 small plastic cups and was told they were $30 a piece and we owed $90.My friend questioned the bartender and he said yes, they are $30 a piece. Can I just say, I am a world traveler and like nice places, but I have NEVER paid $30 a drink need in Vegas or Miami or LA.We questioned him again and he still rang our charge card through and then THREW AWAY OUR DRINKS!!The bartender actually said to us "you have money so you can afford $30 a drink since you are staying at this hotel."Just because I have money, doesn't mean I didn't work hard for it and should be taken advantage of!!!We asked him his name & he refused then wouldn't give us the managers name.So we finally got a "manager" to come speak with us and he sided with the bartender and wouldn't even hear our side of the story.Honestly I think this was a worker and not a manager.Horrible customer service. No use fighting so I just tuned around and left.I will never go back there and will tell everyone I know to not go there anymore.Very disappointed since I was looking forward to going to dance and have fun.

It was ok. Almost everyone in there was from NY, which was funny because so was my group. But they charged a 20 dollar cover. The drinks were strong but cheap. Overly crowded and rude staff.

My fiancé and I were visiting from Florida and I expected a whole other level of fun. Well... we have better clubs in Miami.... There was barely any house music which we craved and the drinks were expensive $11 a piece. I took two shots of patron cafe and waited about twenty minutes nothing happened. I took another shot of regular patron with one ice cube again nothing happened. My fiancé had a shot of Hennessy then a Hennessy and coke. We were not one bit of tipsy. We spent $100 including cover before we called it quits after being in there only about 45 minutes. Smh it sucks when you don't know any better. We drove our rental from Old San Juan.. So glad we didn't take a cab. I give one star because the bit of music we heard was so so so.

Was told that this was the club to go to in PR. Located in the El San Juan hotel. Went on a Satuday night and sat at the hotel lobby bar (big space). There was a band and lots of dancing.... lots of people having a good time. It was a fun preparty before going into Brava. Cover was $20, but as with anywhere, if you're with a group of pretty women, they may not charge you.Two rooms (upstairs and downstairs) play dance music but one was more reggaeton. But, crowded crowded crowded. Bathrooms were clean :)Not going to lie, you could probably have just as much fun in the lobby, without having to pay any cover.

Pros: Great MusicGreat drink pricesAverage coverCons:Too many guysCrowd looked too young (I'm 26)The music in this place was great, good mixes and a continuous flow. However, there were too many guys in the club. The cover charge was better than anything that i usually pay in NY and the drinks were great with even better prices. Bartender was great even with the annoying girls trying to get his attention. Overall, great experience.

While in Puerto Rico for my bachelorette party Club Brava was recommend. There was a wait the one was quite long maybe 30 to 45 minutes not exactly sure. Once in you could pay by cash or card which was good. I don't like to carry a lot of cash and I could also start a tab if I wanted too. The cost was $20 which I thought was reasonable, most place you go its more especially doing a holiday weekend. This place had two different floors with two different Dj's each playing something different which was cool. We were visiting during Memorial Day weekend so this place was packed and jumping. Located inside a casino you would never know you really can't hear the music in the casino only as you get close to the entrance. The DJ's did there thing with keeping the crowd going, you heard a little bit of everything, Pop, HIp Hop, R&B, Reggae they tried to hit on it all we had a lot of fun, so much fun we walked out barefooted. I would definitely go again.

Thank you for your review ! We are glad you enjoyed your bachelorette party with us ! I noticed your comment about the $1,000 for the table alone. However, the club asks for a minimum of $1,000 in bottles of alcohol consumption for the table. We are deeply sorry for the misunderstanding.Hope to see you soon again!
