Very good condition. Nice layout for 27 hole course. Good practise areas. Expensive $175, but normal for resort area. Brought my own clubs, rentals I find are always iffy. Wide open course so you don't lose too many balls. A P.B.Dye course.

Overall a great golf experience. I played Tortuga to Arrecife. I was a single so pace of play wasn't an issue. The ocean holes were spectacular. The most memorable holes IMO were 3,5,7 on Tortuga and 2,3,5,8 and 9 on Arrecife. 8 & 9 on Arrecife were right on the ocean. The course was in decent shape. I had a range finder so didn't need a caddie but apart from a few holes, the course is in front of you. At $175 I would not call it great value but when you factor in that transportation is included, it's not bad. If I was paying just the green fees, I would not pay more than $125.

The golf course started with an outstanding practice facility and the golf course did not disappoint. There were 4 or 5 holes on the ocean and they were impressive. The course was not overly difficult but challenging. A great course to play while on vacation. Getting picked up (as a part of the price) was a great touch. Caddy was decent.

There are many gorgeous holes on this beautiful and fun golf course, especially when you get alongside the Caribbean.

My wife and I played La Cana this year. Caddy Franklin was outstanding. Course was beautiful. Played in 3 hours with ONE ball. Thanks again Franklin!! Holes along the sea and homes by the course all worth the trip. After round at 19th hole, burgers were great. Punta Cana Golf arranged tee times and transport. Drivers were on time and very friendly. Wonderful experience for both of us!!

My wife and I played a total of 54 holes -- 18 at each of the three nine hole courses at La Cana. We enjoyed all three pretty much equally. The Tortuga and Arrecife courses feature a number of ocean holes while the Hacienda layout was interesting in its own way. Fairways are generally wide open, but that doesn't mean the holes are easy, especially the par 3's which were mostly quite challenging. The terrain tends to be hilly and water comes into play on several holes. Waste bunkers are all over the place. The area had quite a bit of rain and some of the fairways retained water in large puddles -- unavoidable I suppose. Practice range and clubhouse were above average. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Caddies are optional. We didn't use a caddy and didn't feel we missed out at all. Lunch is available at two outdoor spots in the clubhouse area. Food was pretty good but nothing special and somewhat expensive.

Play golf at La Cana, with dramatic views facing the Caribbean Sea will be expensive but you gain in satisfaction every dollar put into it privilege. The fairways, greens, bunkers and information signals are high level. I played in January with Twigthlight Teetimes and no problems to complete 18 goles. Most courts on Punta Cana provide fresh drinks and sandwiches during the game for free, opposite La Cana, where you have to pay all.

Played in late November booked round through the resort I was staying at to include round plus club rental. Upon checking in and picking up clubs and cart I was advised and introduced to my caddie I was not notified that this was an additional charge and falsely assumed he was part of the round at the end of the round I tipped the caddie 25 $ and was advised by him that his services were $30 plus tip. After being embarrassed I gave him 50$ This issue was discussed subsequently with the pro who "sympathized" regarding no prior notice from his staff that caddie use was optional. Have played US courses with caddie programs and have never been surprised in this fashion. It won't happen again. Forewarned is for armed

Several holes on the ocean but less expensive than other courses. we played there twice - make sure you mention that you want to play the holes by the ocean.

We visited three times this beautiful golf course, we play Areciffe and Tortugas , beautiful vistas to ocean, nicely kept, good quality of the grass and very friendly course. Take caddy with you they knows exactly where you should play :).We came also for New Year's Eve which was really big fun under the big tent ...

Expensive as all golf course on Dom. Rep. but this is worth the green fee. pick up service was good. and easy to reserve tee time via web page.

Numerous holes on the ocean with great views. Overall course in excellent condition but several greens had issues with fungus. Not unlike some greens I see at home in SC recently. Typical Dye course with wide fairways and bunkers in unexpected locations. Easy to score low or high depending on how directionally challenged you are on the particular day. Although stated that fore-caddies are not required, in fact they are provided and required. Suggest drink on the clubhouse outdoor deck overlooking the ocean. Great way to end a round, good or bad.
