We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Nature Park.We found it an informative, caring place where it seemed obvious to us that all the staff were working in harmony with their 'residents'.The experience of swimming with the dolphins was something truly extraordinary, one that we would doubt is available on the same level at any other similar venue in the US or anywhere else. We really were sharing time with them and the fun and games were unique. The memories will last a lifetime. I would go back to Cuba just to revisit this singularly magical experience.

A group of 17 of us toke part in the swim with dolphin and catamaran sunset lobster meal package. We all had a brilliant time, we paid extra for a lift by the dolphins and for a couple of photos. The meal was lovely, the staff extremely pleasant and informative. A few days later 4 of us went horse back riding, the guide was also informative and supportive. I couldn't fault the service provided.Thank you for a wonderful time we will remember forever

The Nature Park is an easy walk down the road from the resort, so a nice little, low cost excursion you can do on your own - no bus ride required.

Loved the Horse Back Ride - very calm and passive horses made for an exhilirating ride and when they rode out close to the beach area it was gorgeous.

This is a nice park. We went there because we were taking the swimming with dolphins tour. Not much to do there other than a bar.

We did the half day dolphin excursion from 9am-1pm. Tour bus picked us up at 9am. It's a 15 minute drive from our hotel (Brisasa, Guardalavaca). Upon arrival, you are welcomed to the open bar, and they start with a sea lion show. Then you're split into groups - you can choose deep swim or shallow swim with the dolphins. You don a life jacket and hop right into the water. You have about 20 minutes with one dolphin.. between 6-8 people. There are lots of tricks, and my favourite- free time with the dolphin- just treading beside the dolphin, touching it, and really getting a good look at it- pretty neat. We all get in a line and the dolphin comes up to you and kisses you, splashes water on you, sings for you it- it's quite an experience. We even had someone taking pictures with our own camera for us- he took 100 pictures, and even a few videos. We tipped him for doing it, and I am so grateful to have all the pictures! After you have some free time at the bar and a light snack. We walked around the grounds, sat and watched the dolphins. There was one that even brought me a life jacket that had fallen in the water, and there was no trainer around! Then there's a dolphin show. After you are shuttled back over via boat to your bus. This half day excursion cost 84 CUC. You have to go.

Fantastic, although my horse must have thought it was in the Grand National was insisted on being up the front and kept racing to be first!

We went on two different trips here which were organised by Robert and Irina at the Sol Rio Luna and Mares Hotel. The trips were not expensive and great fun well organised and well worth the money. When we arrived at the nature park by mini bus we were given a cold drink then shown to the stable to our horses. I had never rode a horse in my life so was a little apprehensive! They ask you what experience you have if any with horses and then pair you with the horse they think will be best. We were given riding helmets and off we went. After five minutes I quickly got used to my horse and loved it as long as he dandered slowly lol! Take plenty of water as it was very hot on the trail. The scenery is beautiful and the guides made sure no one was left behind. We stopped at a bar area for drinks beers and fizzy soft drinks were only $1 a can and ice cold. There were toilet facilities which were clean too. We were taken to a bridge where you can hire boats for fishing in the bay and mangroves. Whatever you catch we were told they cook up for lunch. The staff were like all Cubans friendly and chatty. We were to do the mini zoo that day but it was so hot everyone agreed to return to the hotel. Our second trip was with Irina from the kids club at the hotel who organised a trip to the mini zoo and farmers house. Parents could accompany their children if they wished if not kids club took them. I went with my daughter as we had missed the zoo on the horse riding morning. There were two zevras crocs birds a huge iguana wandering around monkeys. It's not very big and the cages were small in my opinion. We were able to hold a baby croc and a parrot for photos. They were quite happy for us to take photos and no extra charges .....take a camera as there is not a photographer there. The lady showing the animal for us to hold was loively and very patient. We then took a five minute walk up to the farmers house. The farmer was very friendly and showed us round the house ( which had two rooms for guests to stay at a charge) then outside to the pigs, guinea pigs, peacocks , rabbits and chickens. The children were able to feed the animals and after Irina made sure everyone had washed their hands before moving on. We were shown how coffee was ground and my daughter was given a farmers hat :)Again take plenty of water as it was very hot walking about in little or no shade. Before boarding the mini bus the staff gave all the children icecream as a treat. Again everyone was so friendly.Great morning trips :)

We went last April and we had such a wonderful experience that my husband and I are returning in September - cannot get enough!!! the dolphins and staff are wonderful!!!Baia (or Baya), our dolphin was simply gorgeous and adorable. I would recommend this place to all lovers of dolphins and even those who think it is only a mammel (like my husband did and fell in love with it! :-)

I would recommend this when in Cuba, they have one of the cheapest rates for swimming with the dolphins. Departing on Catamaran you will be entertained all the way to this man made aquarium in the open ocean. What a treat loved every moment.
