市中市里面最值得去的教堂,虽然门票100比索,但是非常值得,里面的景色很漂亮,而且有很多西方文化的东西,建筑都做的很精美。马尼拉的导游也很热情,拍照技术很好

Never in my life that I have seen a church so beautiful, so massive, so majestic and enchanting.Too bad the church is already closed even if it was just past 6pm. I'd definitely go back to see what's inside.Tip is to go here around 4pm and wait until sunset. You can also try their special Empanada and buko shake. It's definitely worth it!

The outside of the church is built with the same technique as others in the area although you will notice the roof is not intact as the one you will find on loag at st Williams actually still is. This church has the bell tower in close proximity a nice gardens right beside it where you can sit and relax in the shade. In front you have a large grassed area where it's great to take photos, I can recommend the restaurant ruffinos which was really impressive for lunch.

beautiful inside out! this is a very wonderful place for me , i am just looking and reading about this during my university years history books about St. augustine, Paoay church, its an Architectural dream come true!! i was dwarved by the huge buttress that supports the church(earthquakes)but there was one thing that was never said in the books...i found out that during the spanish times, that you can place ur beloved dead ones(bones) inside the columns of the church..(creepy)well, thats goes with our faith and history. as i said the place was WONDERFUL!

visited the paoay church in ilocos with family... an old bell tower greeted us as we enter the sanctuary... the centuries old church made us think that we walked back in time with its grandiose baroque architecture.. the prayer garden beside the magnificent church was a good place to meditate the our Creator's goodness.

You need to visit the church if you're in Ilocos Norter region as this is one of the national landmark in Northern Luzon. Philippines History as it best and the feeling when you see the church is remarkable.

This mammoth Catholic Church was built in the baroque style and is truly majestic.I loved the gardens around it.The inside was beautifully cool even on a hit day.The altar is impressive.I hope that it continues to be properly maintained by parishioners.

An excellent opportunity to see the Paoay Church in late afternoon and early evening on the way to Vigan. We did not have time to really check the interior of the church as there was a wedding going on. The grandkids enjoyed the adjoining plaza. There was a nice coffee shop in the arcade close to the church where the coffee was surprisingly good. See it in the evening as the lights accentuate the facade of the church.

Reading the history and seeing the place personally is awesome, i really like the church and the surrounding area. The extra plus was the garden besides the church so lovely. I can reccomend it to tourist.

Get to see an earthquake baroque style church firsthand when you visit this. They have created a garden in front of the church, so if you stand far enough, you'll have this amazing view (and photo opp) of the entire church facade.Unfortunately, it's only the facade that is special, and the interior is not as well-maintained.

Yes around 70% of the infrastructure of this church is made up of corals and they really preserved it like as good as new built!. :) This historical church is really a. Must see!.:)

My 2nd visit. Architectural speaking it still remain my favourite old church in the Phils. I will Never get tired of it. Need to do more work with the roofing though. GI sheet do not fit with the beauty of the exterior. Reminds me of a hypocrite (looks good outside, but ugly inside).. similar with many seemingly religious church goers. You simply do not become good by just attending mass every Sunday. One has to be transformed inside out. Sad but true. Parking lots should be away from the heritage site itself... it's such a pity to use the ground so close to the bell tower and the left wing of the church itself. Garbage cans and litters show no respect to the old grandeur.

Now, THIS is a UNESCO Heritage site. The baroque architecture employed here is truly awe inspiring. This is a good place to meditate before you begin your journey throughout Ilocos. Truly a beautiful sight to behold.

Even if it is not a UNESCO Heritage site, the Church should really be in your must-see list. There are a lot of beautiful churches in Ilocos Norte but this church is one that is postcard-perfect. The background and natural lighting of the surrounding area (whether sunny, cloudy, sunrise, sunset) will make your pictures look good no matter how you frame it. We do not know if this is always the case, but the church was closed during our visit. My oldies and I were a bit disappointed because we did want to come inside and pray, not just take beautiful pictures.

I'm not sure which is worth the heritage, The facade and bell tower or the whole church it self. I was surprised when I entered the complex inside i see no beauty of its ceiling or the interiors. I was expecting a very intricate of any form of art with it's inside. Except for the fact that i saw boring GI sheets as its roof. But with all due respect the church and even the view from the outside is awesome. Too bad that they weren't able to replicate (at least) the adobe roof and restore its ceilings just like the old times.
