You experience: 1. Great sound of waves splashing against the rocks2. Connecting beach from 2 sides of the small island. (like a beach valley)Negative: Hard to swim because of the strong undertow and waves

Going to Caramoan was not an easy trip, because we did not do the conventional way of going there (on a ferry boat in Sabang port). We had our own van, and did the almost 16 hr land trip from Manila. We left manila at around 10AM and arrived in Caramoan at 3: AM the next day. We just had like 3 hrs of sleep and at exactly 9 AM started the island hopping activity. The first island that we visited was Sabitang Laya where survivor series is so famous. The cloud was not so cooperative and it was raining heavily that we did not really enjoy the place. The second island was Lahos, and somehow, mother sun gave us hope by showing some rays of light. The entire island was picturesque. The boatman was pleasant enough in telling us some stories of the island. By the way, the boat cost 3 thousand pesos for a whole day event.

LIKED: Virgin, uninhabited and raw island, cream powdery sand, very picturesqueDISLIKED: No bathroom or changing area so you can't really stay a long time; since it's very raw, there are still a lot of boulders and rocks; waves were a little strong when we got there

White sand & gorgeous rocks. You can see both ends of the island because the sand stretches all the way to the other side. Rock formations surround your left & right flank as you walk through the other end. There is a man who sells very affordable coconut fruit/juice there, make sure to try one.

One of the best island we visited..part of our island hoping by La Playa Puerto Merced..boatman told us why it is called Laos Island simply because it has lagusan to the same beach in opposite side of the island...you can swim on both side..the lime stone and stone formation is beautiful..and the sand is perfectly fine..

Couple of limestones so you have a breath taking view of both nature and beach! Sand is not that fine but the experience is worth it! Better bring lots of batteries, you have tons of pictures to take!

I like it the best of all the islands we visited because it has 2 different views of the sea. The other one is calm while the other one is wavy because of the "amihan" season. Though there are no trees to shade us, the limestone cliffs are there to cover the strong rays of the sun. The white sand resembles that of boracay though lahos is only a small island which offers nothing but a very nice view.

The sand in Lahos Island is better than in Boracay (or I am being bias because I don't like Boracay). Maybe it's not going to be as beautiful when summer comes. Contact our boatman 09217135668/09462796122 Kuya Jesi (kuya is older brother) he let us rent a boat good for 8 for only P3000.00 since we were just three in our group. We appreciated the island because we were the only ones there. The boatman said it's better to visit from May-June which was a little odd for me because I thought June is not a good season to travel by water.Bring your cameras, this is a good place to do a pictorial :p

a uniquely shaped island. it was like 2 islands with rock formations connected with a white sandbar. Nice!

First island during our Caramoan trip. Lahos island itself is simply amazing. I mean all of the islands that we went are all perfectly beautiful. But still I saw small garbage left by other tourist. And please people pick-up your trash. And a shout out plus thank you Caramoan Haven Tour Services for making our trip memorable and AWESOME!!!

Visited last May 2013 as part of the Caramoan Island Hopping tour by West Peninsula Villas. The motor boat docks by a beautiful beach then you enter the other side of the island with another beach. The sand is similar to Panglao Island in Bohol. Turquoise water about with the island's beautiful rock formations.

I had a great time in this island. Good thing there is no filming of survivor series when I visited this wonderful place. Sparkling clear waters opening to the Pacific Ocean dotted with white sand powder fine beaches and unspoiled coral reef systems and mangrove swamps. You'll fall in love! Love Ko Caramoan!

We enjoyed a day of basking in the sun at Caramoan Islands. First island that we visited was Lahos Island. The white sand beach faces both sides of the ocean and has a very similar limestone formations on both sides They said that during high tide the white sandy beach disappears that's why they call it Laho which is the tagalog word for that.

Being the first island on the itinerary, it gave us the perfect welcome to enjoy the rest of our island tours. There's a spot for unwinding without fear of getting burned, a spot for snorkeling and a spot for just plain swimming. :)

most of the beaches in included in the island hopping packages are white. This has 2 beaches opposite each other. Only thing that lets it down is that there's litter.
