There are three nice museum in this place. The most famous one is the Snow Museum. Two others are Dyeing and Weaving Museums. Originally, we took a taxi from the Asahikawa train station there for the Snow Museum. After arriving there we were surprised to learn that there were two more museums there. Tickets were sold separately to each museum, but you could also purchase a ticket to visit all of them. Every one was small and you could take a quick tour in 20 minutes for each or you can take longer time seeing the artifacts in detail. We visited all three and were very satisfied. The Snow Museum had a lots of display about snow and the building itself was designed in the snow theme. The other two were about traditional fabric. You could see all kinds of design in patterns and colors on fabric and different products produced based on such fabric. The place was just nice and quiet.

お友達が調べてくれていて、大人が楽しめる旭川の観光地でした。村内には“雪の美術館”“国際染織美術館”“優佳良織工芸館”の三館あり、共通券で巡れました。半日、もっとゆっくり見るなら一日中楽しめるところでした。
