The church has been built over and over again, and the current version is a brick-and-plaster version, with a rash of color, to boot. The stained glass has rudimentary patterns. However, the location (near the beach) is interesting and the place is peaceful. If you visit, it should be more out of devotion than to admire the aesthetics of the place.

We watched the sun rise on the promenade and then went to the church. We were in a peaceful state of mind and the church added to the feeling. Beautiful architecture and the interiors were very beautiful. It was quiet and calm.

The church is located very close to the promenade in white townThere is lot of art work engraved inside the church.Very peaceful and with the cool breeze from the main entrance gives you a good feeling.Nice place overall.

I went there on a lazy evening as read some good reviews about it. I would say I found it just average, its like a regular church from inside and outside.. nothing special about the architecture or the building stood out... Overall, you can go if you have nothing else to do..

This was a lovely church and courtyard along the main beach walk--- easy to visit. My favorite aspect was watching kids play cricket and soccer in the courtyard! beautiful church, lovely architecture. well worth a visit.

The church has been recently renovated or painted. The statues look fresh and have an imported look to them.The place is quite and is peaceful if you are in a mood for prayer. The dome is unique and so is the facade.

Rocky Beach was my favorite spot for evening walk. This was located on the rocky beach which is a major tourist attraction at Pondicherry for the evenings.

Attend mass on sunday - even if its for 5 minutes - its worth your while! Your brain will get confused as you wouldn't know if you were in India or France. It's also the least crowded of the lot.

This is more like a church than a traditional Roman Catholic chapel, a relief in twelve parts, around the wall tell the story of the crucifixion. Could do with with some refurbishment.
