Its one of the important Church built by Portuguese in their Colony Of Daman in 1607, Situated inside Moti Daman Fort. This Church was built close to the Administrative offices which symbolises the Church Influence on the Portuguese Rulers. Very Simplistic in its built, but clearly reflects the faith, culture & architecture in 17th century. Relatively well maintained even though is more than 400 years old.Very Peaceful & calm inside. A must visit when in Daman.

Very nicely maintained church, even surrounding old buildings are worth visiting. Its closed between 12-4pm. Best time to visit is early morning or before noon or after 5-6pm.

One of the most important remnants of the Portugal history of Daman, The Cathedral of Bom Jesus is quite simplistic in its exterior. The antiquity of the culture is felt once you go inside. The altar is simple, beautiful and but its history of over 4 centuries is certainly awe-inspiring.

Around the middle of the town square is this old church that merits a few minutes of reflection - religiously or as a testament of the places heritage.

The Cathedral of Bom Jesus and the Daman fort are some of the most important remnants of being a Portuguese Colony for Daman. The exterior of the church is quite simplistic, and it is only inside that one can feel the antiquity of the place. The altar is over embellished a piece of work but given its history of over 4 centuries, is definitely worth one's attention. The Church is inside the walls of the Fort - being a serene place, you would enjoy a walk around the church in the tree lined streets of this place

The church is rustic and a great piece of work. It is being very poorly maintained. Still it is worth a visit since Daman doesnt have many interesting places

This is one of the oldest and mot visited places in daman. This is a must watch for everyone. This church is more than 400 years old, which makes it a heritage property, but still well maintained.

The Bom Jesu Church is a very good attraction especially for people who need some peace and calm in their surroundings. The architecture is superb. On entering the church premises, you get a wonderful feeling. The entrance door is not very attractive but on entering the church, the feeler is awesome. This church was built in 1603 AD by the Portuguese and post 400 years, there has been no changes in its architect, except for painting and renovation if any.

Portuguese built this church More than 400 years back. I would like it to be maintained much better. The exterior walls need a fresh coat of paint asap. The wood carvings could be better maintained

It is located in the Moti Daman Fort. We only saw a closed door which probably has been closed for ages or whatever.

Great architecture. Needs maintenance. Surrounded by greenery but inside the church, there are layers of dust on the architecture. These are our assets/heritage, please maintain it.
