The Baha'i temple is the perfect place to find peace in Panama City. The view from the mountain has no match!

A very peaceful and serene temple a decent drive out of the city. In fact most drivers do not really know the location of the temple and we had to help the driver with getting there. They were building a subway station at the bottom of the hill so reaching the temple will probably be easier in the future. We have visited two other Bahai temples in the world (Wilmette, IL and New Delhi). The architecture of the other two was definitely more impressive. However, the location (on top of a large hill with a gorgeous view of the city) and serenity of the temple was far better than other two. Great place to meditate and to just get a peace of mind. Understandably. the caretaker of the temple was quite vigilant about the behavior and dress code of the visitors to the temple. Relatively conservative attire as well respectful behavior is a must.

Attended a Sunday 10 am Worship. I am not religious but wow how nice. I listened, read and cried. I loved it. A beautiful place and amazing building. Be sure to stay a while to take it all in !

It's ok if you like walking, and just stay some minutes doing meditation. Is a very small church, beautiful view of the city

This temple is on a high hill and can be reached by car. It is an example of excellent architecture for the tropics. It is open to the public without charge and wonder location for viewing Panama City.

The temple is a bit far from the city but for me it is worth the drive. It was helpful for me to read up and do some research about Baha'i before going up there. Aside from admiring the architecture and the view it would be good to understand a little bit what it signifies. The entrance is easy to miss so once you make that U turn from Frederico Boyd , slow down . The metal gate is in between two warehouses . Another landmark to watch out for is a large Conway on the opposite side of the street. The road going up is a little tight but well paved and with adequate safety reminders. They have a large parking area in front of the temple. As soon as you go up the steps , there is someone near the door who will remind you to turn off the cellphones, no photos inside and no talking inside. Without any distractions , it is very easy to feel calm and meditate. After spending some time inside you can then take a walk around the temple along well manicured gardens and enjoy the views of Panama.

Great pics, be safe getting up and down form the temple, better to hire a car. Very serene, humming view of Panama City Skyline, great visit.

An incredible place. Not easy to find but well worth the trip. Sit in the middle of the Temple and feel the incredibly strong energy surrounding this unique place, you can literally sense a soothing vibration in your body. After, admire one of the best views of Panama City from the Canal to well past the Tocumen airport on a clear day. My favorite spot in Panama.

We live here in Panama and this 'egg' shaped temple is really worth going to see - I would suggest the green season because the landscape is so much nicer. The temple is simple and beautiful, shaped like an egg with landscaping surrounding it. High on a hill, a wonderful view as well.

This is a beautiful peaceful place no matter what religion or beliefs you have. Usually there are few to no guests up here. The trickiest part is getting there as you have to pass it from the road (Transismica) and then take the next turnaround. The view of the city is real nice all around and 14 years ago there was a lot less city to be seen. The City is gaining on it and may threaten the stillness some day. From a distance as you are approaching from a few miles away it looks like a big egg on a hill. I believe this was the first Bahai temple in Latin America. There are around a dozen in the world.

A beautiful temple with a very 60's architecture and an amazing view of the city from on high. However, please don't bring food, music, sleeveless shirts, or pets for your picnic on the grassy knoll, as they are not allowed on the site. It is a very peaceful, friendly and contemplative place.

Crazy ride up the rough road to this magnificent Temple. The feeling of calmness and tranquility can be felt the Moment you arrive. The views are great and the day I was up there the Sky was perfectly clear, with a slight breeze. This Temple is a must see if you are in the area, check it out. BYE BYE

make sure your drive knows how to get here and has a vehicle with good brakes (for the return down the steep and narrow driveway). The pot holes, Metro construction and traffic horns can occupy one's attention to the point of missing the turn off. At the temple a greeter will pleasantly explain the rules of conduct. Quiet. Cool. Great views along the concrete walk around the circular temple building. No entrance fee.

This temple is a very peaceful place to visit. It also offers exceptional views of the city. It takes about half an hour to get there from downtown Panama. We were the only tourists at the temple when we arrived and there were only two other people there at the time.
