福隆旧草岭隧道

北海岸一个爬山的好地方，坡度较平缓，对于膝盖较没力的老人家比较没负担，每年10月是芒草花祭，整片白茫茫的芒草花，微微的海风吹的人真是舒服极了，下山后，还可以享受鲜美海鲜，一举数得，值得推荐。

福隆车站进入后左转直行，隧道口有小型停车场，平常日可以开车至小型停车场后再租脚踏车车即可，自行车一小时$50、电动自行车$200，因隧道不大建议平常日去可以悠闲的租脚路车。

"爽"不但是指由福隆端隧道外的闷热到进入隧道内的清凉舒爽, 亦是指到了宜兰端的出口, 看到一望无际的太平洋, 远眺龟山岛那种令人豁然开朗, 心情爽快的感觉。虽然踏单车的时间不长, 来回大约需要1个小时, 但到宜兰端那边可以一边吃早前买的福隆便当, 一边欣赏海洋景色, 悠闲一番, 所以预算用2-3小时会比较好。如果有时间可以多花10分钟继续踏去石城港, 近距离看看海也不错。比较建议平日才去这个景点, 游人会少一些, 车速可以加快些。

旧草岭隧道适从新北市的福隆车站到宜兰的石城，很适合全家大小、情侣、三五好友旅游的景点，但去的时间要选则春末秋初的时候去比较好，夏天去的时候超热、人多又挤。

the 2km tunnel feels like an airconditioned underground trail, opening up to jawdropping scenic views of the sea. there's rental bicycles if you like. and its an easy ride or walk either way. there's a romance strolling in a disused rail tunnel and the beautiful flowers lined track thats enters a parallel tunnel in service.Getting to the entrance is a few km's ride/hike/bus from the Fulong train station. Padi fields and scenic farms with narrow country roads.

This is a spectacular bike ride - easy to organise as you can catch the train to Fulong - and then hire bikes for 100NT each for the day next door (bring your own helmets). The trail first takes you through the countryside and then to the 2 km tunnel. It's awesome riding through it -a little surreal with music playing that sounds like an approaching train. The rest of the trail is on the coast and takes you past local fishing villages and amazing scenery. We first did this two years ago when our children were aged 5 1/2 and 7 and did it again today. Even in summer it is well worth the heat. It is challenging for children, but the lure of ice-cream at the end kept them going. We did walk up a few hills but overall, the ride is relatively flat - but approx 22 kms. Heaps of places to now stop for drinks and food, and regular toilet stops. If you can make it - try and wait to stop for lunch at the Scu Bar - which is at the end of the route - about 2 kms from the Railway station near the big temple. Perfect food after a long ride - burgers, nachos and great selection of beers and ciders (and ice-cream). Great place to go swimming too. Don't miss it!

this former railway tunnel, which now was a cycling route at taipei area, is a must visit for cyclist, and do a relax ride there. it is located at Fulong Town , ang the cycling route start from Railway station and is around 5km to the tunnel, and can be way back or get to other long trail 22km. also a popular trekking trail. 60tw lunch set buy from the original first shop after railway station, delicious.
